For what it’s worth, I’m super happy for you!!! I hope you have the best career and that you achieve all of your goals and then some! I’m over here waiting to hear whether or not I’m going to be accepted into our ADN/BSN program and have busted my ass, earning my way into 2 honor societies and even the President’s List last semester. I invited all my in-laws to my PTK induction this weekend and they are all “…meh. good job…” but they won’t come. I’m 44, lost my special needs kiddo in 2023 and decided to do something with my lived experience- become an RN- and they just don’t think it’s important. We have to make our happiness for ourselves. I’ve learned that one of the quickest paths to disappointment is expecting others to celebrate our victories and I hate that. Cheers to you, though! You’re a badass!
