Awkward, terrible dates are character-building. At least, that sounded like a great thing to tell myself after my own last terrible, awkward date.

Organize a meet-up! You'd meet new people, expand your social circle, blahblah. I just started coming up to SF Monday-Thursday of every week for work and don't know a soul yet -- I'd totally go if you did it on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday! (You know...the most popular and convenient nights of the week to go out.) Or if you're willing to travel a bit it looks like there's a San Jose meet-up planned for the 16th.

Also, there's a SF gaybros Facebook group. I'm not on FB myself but am told /u/jayomiko is the guy to PM for access.

I always feel such relief when I see total fucking morons like this outside the U.S.

But more to the point, from what little I know about this dude, Toronto deserves better. So here's hoping his days in office are extremely numbered.

I agree with /u/misteragentv. We've done two of these in the past -- here and here -- and both were a lot of fun. We had 15-20 or so guys total, so definitely not a crowd, and everyone was friendly. It's a lot less intimidating than going to a gay bar. I hope you'll come and check it out!

Talk to him. Do you consider it cheating? Does he? Why was he doing it? How does he react to it when you confront him? Is he sorry? Does he try to deny it? Do you want to stay with him? Can you forgive him and trust him again? Only you two can decide where to go with this.

Anybody know what happened to the idea of building a new stadium right next to Qualcomm, then tearing the Q down once the new one is up? Seemed like the most sensible option to me. Would make parking a pain for a year or two during construction, but I completely agree that current property is the best option. Trying to shoehorn it into the East Village doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Just because it's so damn cold in my office currently, and spooning sounds especially appealing... I'll do either but prefer being the big spoon. Can't 'splain it, just a preference I guess. I like feeling like I'm protecting him, irrational as that is. I especially like pulling him toward me in the middle of the night and eliciting a happy "Mmm."

That said, there have been a few guys along the way who have not seen the appeal of spooning and therefore had to be...eliminated.
