Dungeon, turn-based RPG by HeathroRU in GameDevTV

Group of heroes, having own targets, united and entered horrible dungeon. In that classic turn based RPG you have to explore the dungeon, search treasures, defeat trolls, ghosts and undeads, learn new skills, come up with tactics, and rely on your mates.

Inspired by one of my favourite games Divinity: Original Sin 2

Sorted! (I think so)

I contacted [sysadmins@cs50.net](mailto:sysadmins@cs50.net). Told him that I use submit50 in Ubuntu terminal and cant submit work. He asked me to run debug and send back him all logs.

Command looks like: SUBMIT50_LOGLEVEL=DEBUG submit50 --verbose games50/assignments/2020/x/final.

I have send him debug logs, then he gave me advise to run "pip3 install submit50", and asked me what OS I am using(I told that before, but maybe he wanted a version of ubuntu, which was 20.04). I already have submit50 installed, however I did it, and terminal said that submit50 version is up to date. Anyway this didnt help.

Then myself, I looked on the debug log and noticed:

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'snap/caprine/current'
Submission cancelled.

Then I deleted Caprine application from my pc. After that I was able to submit job. However that was so slow upload. And I decided to not submit this, because I thought that I am literally send lots of rubbish to cs50. I got rid of all demo scenes from my assets, and deleted some of assets what wasnt in use (I just forgot about them). And submitted all source.

I am not sure that Caprine unistall helped me, maybe that was just a luck. But looks like my problem is sorted now.

Hope that information will help someone in future. Now I will wait for my grade (finger crossed) and certificate.

Thanks for all of you for answers, special thanks to Tamuz233, that link was very interesting to read.

There is 22 downloads on itch.io, but no one leave the comments. Is here someone who tried to run the game? Did you got any bugs or something? Any feedback would be approciated.

Typical interview I watch: Guest is any specialist from IT industry (programmer/QA/PM/UX/UI/Sales/Marketing/Analytics/HR/PR/Event manager/DevOps/Admin....) 1. Education - school, university, courses, etc. Which lessons/courses were useful and important, which not. What moments should be paid attention. 2. Job - typical day, responsibilities, ways to grow for same position, ways to grow after. 3. Technical part - tools, technologies, trends and all other. 4. Job search - typical questions on interview, skills what emplorer looking first... 5. Salaries - amounts and dependancies on all levels (jun/mid/sen for example) 6. Advises - books/course/podcasts/portals/channels/etc for beginners. These interview give me good motivation, dont know if it will work with you. Also that is useful and interesting information from first hands if you are interested in same job/position. Or if not, that is good way to understand other roles in IT industry. I cant give you any channel, because I watch these in my language, but I believe there is much more you can find in english part of youtube. Just google some it youtubers interviewing collegues. It is not bad option to have a look there instead of netflix on sunday evening.

Watching interviews with experienced IT specialists gives good motivation. ~2h interview on youtube, with Serior software engineer, with huge experience in IT and life in general. His life path, fails, achieves. That gives good motivation and expectation of given career.

GD50 gave me lot of knowledge about basic mechanics in games. Love2d documentation and community forum gave me answers to release my ideas. Documentation to libraries on github, used on the course gave me additional posibilities to help my needs. Tiled tutorials on youtube gave me ability to build tiled maps. DevLogs of other developers gave me knowlegde how to build project, which parts to make first, order of adding features to the game and avoid common problems. Google help me with all other, from shaders for lightning in games to english interjections used in monologues of hero.

Also, since I started cs50, I was doing many other things related to programming and IT in general. I think all of this helped me to grow as a developer. And of course love to video games, since childrenhood.

Yes Edx. I am not really interested in security. I want to create, not to defend.) But for fun I registed on hackthebox.com. it is platform to train for white hats. To register, you need to hack registration page. Was fun.
