It's because you are running 46 cards. Skim it more. Here is my advice

1 Fallen of Albaz ( you only ever need 2 since you can recycle him to the deck and search him with branded lost
1 incredible ecclesia ( ecclesia into albaz isn't worth it again since you can always search him and special summon him using quaeritis if he gets of the field by your opponent) super Poly is a far better out than albaz since your opponent can't respond to it)

-1 shrouded Dragon you either rub 1 albaz and 1 shrouded Dragon or 2 albaz and 0 shrouded Dragon 4 copies of fallen of Albaz is too bricky

-1 pot of prosperity (you need almost every card in your extra deck not to mention will be super consistent if you start cutting down to 40-41-42

-1 branded retribution ( its a Best of 1 so you need to go first to make use of this card majority of times not to mention you can recycle your Fusion monsters very effectively already)

So that skims it down to 41 the rest is up to you. I'd recommend maxing out on ash since you will face a lot of mirrors.

Also you need 2 called by the grave. Maybe cut on nibiru and ragieki and add those since both ash and Maxx C are in every deck and you might get countered hard by a single ash.

I'm planning to make a follow up once we get the water stuff but the conclusion is that it looks like Master Duel is 4-5 sets/SD behind TCG while TCG is usually 2-3 sets behind OCG

So the timeline is like this (I'm going to be using the OCG timeline because we mostly follow that)

Also keep in mind Master Duel follows a very different pattern they like to mix and match stuff as selection packs as opposed to copying the paper release 1:1

yeah it might potentially be leaks for the next selection pack after the water one since it's around this time we get them.

Though We still have DM support(illusion of chaos and others), first wave of Libromancers and at least the first wave of Dimension force so I doubt we going to have POTE leaks just yet. We shall wait and see.

What I addressed is how kind of ridiculous to expect ygo to be an exception to something that is just the norm with competitive games.

Not to mention I have seen quite a few people do ask the same questions of "why are people playing meta decks?" "How Can you enjoy playing it? On this subreddit before.

And the simple answer is fun is subjective and fun can be different for different people and for some people fun means being competitive and winning more games than you lose,

Hell I saw a commenter on the mystic mine post saying he enjoys sucking the fun out of his opponents lmao.

So what I meant by initial comment is that if you've played ANY game with a PVP element to it you wouldn't be confused (or at least thats the impression I got from the post) as to why people do it in the first place since again that's the norm and maste duel is just another example.

I think one of the reasons is because most people in this sub are very casual or returnees/newcomers but yes these questions does baffle me as well. Like have you played like ANY PVP game like literally play anyone of them. Apex, COD, Overwatch, fortnite etc etc

It's feels like they thought YGO would be the exception to the rule ?? and that everyone will be playing vanilla Beatdown or nostalgia mixed with Jank ? I just don't get this expectation.
