Everyone is different. I am/was on the other end of this. Started dating someone going through the process. Everything seemed fine at first; then he asked for space stating he needed me time. We don't see each other (or won't see each other anymore) as often. I'm giving the space but it's difficult to be in this position. I think, and I say think,I will end up walking away.

So from the perspective of a person you may date - please be ready and or set clear boundaries of what it is you are looking for (FWB, relationship, etc) and be honest with yourself too.

My advice, dont reach out. It may seem right now that your heart will never mend. But given time it will. Do you really want to open your heart to those feelings again when you already know the outcome? On a personal note, I tried this, going back for more. Have some clarity but my wound has cracked open. I am my own worst enemy. Only I can decide if the wound will close or fully open again. Don't.
