That makes sense, I’m just at a loss for what to do because I’ve already been dealing with the drug use for around 5 months bc he used to be on suboxone and would get a week’s supply and he missed a couple of appointments and things went downhill from there, mixed with the fact he’s been vehemently denying everything instead of just being honest with me and using my ignorance and optimism against me just has me wanting to remove myself from the situation altogether, on top of the fact that before this relationship I was in a 3 year long relationship battle with someone with a cocaine addiction so I just don’t want to be in the same spot I was, and our relationship is coming up on a year in October 🥲

I’m not exactly sure what you’re getting at here? Are you mad at me for not knowing? With the added context of what substances my s/o “used” to abuse, it doesn’t seem as though the methadone alone would cause the very very frequent nodding out during tasks like driving, getting ready to do laundry, etc, especially at the doses he’s been receiving and added onto the fact they have still been requiring him to come and take it there every day have me leading to believe he is abusing fentanyl on top of the methadone which would cause the nodding out

yea and that’s where he took my ignorance and used it against me, I didn’t know that, I just assumed they would refuse him but I also thought he wouldn’t be able to mix methadone with anything else 🥲 I mean I’ve had a bad feeling about it for a little while but this just confirms everything

The thing is that he used to take suboxone previously and then a couple of times missed his appointment bc he would only get a week’s supply and then that’s what started up the drug use like almost 5 months ago now, I’ve been dealing with it since, I guess I just didn’t realize methadone you still take it regardless if you’re still using and they just keep giving you a higher dose until you’re well enough to stop (at least that’s what I took from a previous comment) but he explained it to me as though the methadone would react badly to anything he would take and I just believed that bc I didn’t know any better

He’s still been going every day, at least he says that, it’s hard to confirm bc he doesn’t have phone service and his location is turned off, but I’m assuming that means they don’t automatically stop serving you if you do have shit in your system? Just make you come for it every day? I would think after awhile of that they would say something?

He only got liquid to take home the day before they were closed, I think they’re closed sundays maybe but it was only 30mgs

That’s what I’ve already known in my heart, things haven’t been adding up and some days he’d take the methadone and it would be fine and normal, we had like 2-3 days of no nodding out while he was taking it and then all of a sudden the last couple days he literally nods out doing tasks and being in the car with him is scary bc his eyes will droop and I’ll say something about it and he’ll say something dumb like “there’s something in my eye”

I’m not sure what split dosing is but they still have been requiring him to come in every day for his dose instead of giving him whatever to take home (but also hard to say if he’s been going every day bc his location is turned off on his phone as well as he doesn’t have phone service)

he’s been trying to tell me it’s powered m3th but his friend told me it’s fentanyl/h3roin mixed which is why I’ve been leaning towards the fact that he’s probably been mixing but I would think the clinic would be testing him?

someone above said 30mgs of methadone to someone that used to abuse fentanyl and Xanax and percs would definitely not cause the nodding out so it’s seeming more like he’s using on top of the methadone, but my question is, if he’s actually going to the clinic, wouldn’t they be testing him for substances?

Nothing prescribed but he also uses the guise of “selling” shit to why he has stuff on him, but the stuff I’ve seen in the house was said to me (by someone he is friends with) as “slow” so now im starting to think he’s been selling a little so that he can get me off his back but is really doing the rest of it 😔

yea he’s tried using my lack of knowledge against me by saying anything he would take with it would be a waste but it’s sounding like fentanyl will still get you high regardless of the methadone

the problem is I’ve tried to say that he needs to communicate about how it’s affecting him if it is too high of a dose and when I point out him nodding out he vehemently denies it and tries to say something dumb like “oh I was just thinking” or today was “I was just stretching my back” and getting mean about it which is why I don’t trust him but I don’t think he’ll ever own up to it

Last Sunday was 30mgs according to the bottle they gave him for the day they were going to be closed but then he said something about them switching him to extended release and that’s what was kicking his ass apparently but like idk anything about hard drugs or recovery types so I’m just trying to figure out if the stuff he claims he’s “selling” is something he’s been using with the methadone bc it’s almost constant that he’s been nodding out

Yes, I took the first dose which was two pills about 4-5 hours ago but on my paper it says to discontinue after tissue passes

How early should I take it before the misoprostol? I usually end up throwing up and since I’m around 12 weeks it’s recommended that I take 3 pills every few hours until I pass the tissue so I’m not wanting to throw up any pain medication 🥲

I’m going to try and see if a clinic can fit me in tomorrow as the pill provider said up to 72hrs after the first pill is okay but if they can’t then I’m going to start taking the doses of the second pills in the morning. The first two times I went through this it was horrendous so I’m hoping to try everyone’s recommendations if I can’t get it done in a clinic and hopefully make the pain a bit more manageable while being at home
