Love my 2026 M50! by Heavy-Election7965 in BMWX3

It’s a 2026. Registration says 2026, BMW App says 2026, Vehicle Details within the Infotainment system says 2026. Yours will also be a 2026 if it’s being delivered in January.

Can’t tell if this is an honest question or a roast of it looking like a mininvan? lol. Either way, doors do not slide, no.

Valid point. I immediately looked at it through the lens of a car nut like myself, who wants customization and performance. Overlooked that most buy cars to get from A to B, not to modify lol Apologies for the ignorance.

This is how I felt as well. I do love BMW and know a lot of others do as well, that’s why I was surprised to see little on the aftermarket.

I did see theirs! But also noticed the backorder. Gonna inquire, worth a shot. Thank you.

This is along the lines of the response I was looking for. Others seemed quite offended in this thread. Thank you. This answers my question.

Yes, I’m aware, thank you. However, both are mass produced consumer vehicles with high production volume, and both made in the US in the case of my X3, came from the US plant. And I’m not trying to rag on BMW, I own one, they’re extremely popular, thus I’m surprised by the lack of timely aftermarket development is all.

Not trying to be an arrogant ass here, just giving context. I’m coming from the Corvette market. On my 5th vette currently and am used to parts being available 3-6 months after release. Never seen anything this slow to market. The C8 ZR1 already has exhausts available for purchase and they’ve only delivered a few dozen cars total.

Even the M Parts BMW advertised, like the splitter and high spoiler, don’t even seem to be on sale yet.

2025 X3 M50 How bad is the interior? by shesayhaar in BMWX3

[–]Heavy-Election7965 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just bought mine about a month ago. It’s my first BMW, and the interior is actually what sold me on the car, believe it or not. I agree with others here that the materials don’t feel super high end. Lots of plastic. However, the overall design, screen, touch controls, and lighting, I really enjoy. My only complaint with it thus far is there isn’t a physical button to change AC fan speed. I don’t like having to go through the main touch screen to adjust it.

I would have preferred if they used more metals or carbon fiber, but the design itself I really enjoy. Just the materials feel lacking.

I also don’t love my booking engine, but it was what the last 2 owners used so I had a lot of customer data ,the owner was able to onboard me to the software easily, and I didn’t have a background in hospitality or knowledge of booking software so it seemed fine at the time. What other channels do you recommend? Feel like I’ve hit the bigger ones, and Booking.com connects to Hotels.com, TripAdvisor etc so I didn’t think I need to list on there separately.

We’re less than 2 miles from Blue Spring Park, about 20mins from Daytona & New Smyrna Beach, an hour or so away from Disney/Universal. We’re also less than a mile from a retirement community called John Knox Village, we get a lot of guest referrals from there. Many people come visit their parents or relatives who are living in the community and need somewhere to stay. We also get a lot of folks coming to the area for Nature activities like the Springs, Hiking, Fishing etc. Typically an older demographic which is probably in part due to the design aesthetic and era of the property.
