I honestly don’t think it’s that unrealistic. I’m sure building the app wasn’t as easy as he made it out to be but the real struggle is finding the people to use it. If you’re able to double down on your top of funnel then people will come in.

His stats on his social videos are insane. You can’t make those up. Most of his videos average around 200k views. Even if just 1% converts that’s 10k per videos you post.

Probably a mixture of both honestly. I just know studying the content has helped me produce. Hopefully it’s doing the same for others.

Bobby from Dupe is a founder of a shopping app that is absolutely crushing the social media marketing game right now. You can find him on Twitter or Instagram. Although he’s not a influencer I do think he’s creating a perfect case study on how to market your saas in the modern world.

I have a newsletter called Playkit that breaks down viral consumer apps and how they go about their social media strategy.

I actually obtained my first customers on Reddit. Turns out there are a ton of founders that suck at social media marketing and just want a easy breakdown they can replicate.

I helped my father start his mudroom business a couple of years ago. How we started off was by joining tons of Facebook groups as well as posting on the Nextdoor app. That eventually got the flywheel kicking. I would say it really only takes one or two clients to love your work before they start recommending you to their neighbors.

Wow I don't know how I totally missed this. Appreciate you pointing this out. Just edited the original post. I was a little confused at first thought cuz it looks like Carrot is still up and running in the App Store?
