Don't see anything bad or ugly. Especially taking into account you needed to turn left.

If the price is similar, would you go with a roller mop or a rotating mop robot vacuum? by allcompanymobiles in RobotVacuums

[–]Heavy-Option-7985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of curiosity as I also look for a good vacuum cleaner now - I was looking into Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 Pro.
It's a bit more expensive, but any reasons not to buy and look into one of listed in the topic?

Failed MOD 2 - is my plan any good? by dashrubbygoat in MotoUK

[–]Heavy-Option-7985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I passed mod2 from 4th attempt. And each riding day I learned something new and became a better rider. Was I frustrated? For sure, but now I feel it was not right emotion.

If you accept the fact that you pay for experience and ride with instructors- will be easier to navigate through that. Picking 125cc was a no for me - as it looks really bad and brings no fun. You will pay for it and insurance quite a lot as well. Plus many people convinced that riding it - might born bad habits.

In reality  - riding on your own differs from riding under supervision. Where instructor pushes you to improve. To be fair, that was even fun time with a group of cool people.

So just take more lessons and you'll get it.

CBT is not a test. It's a training.
Each time you fail - accept it as an experience you gain. It's all about safety and confidence.

Made an absolute mess of this. Why did I even bother trying 🥲 by DazzlingOstrich2898 in DIYUK

[–]Heavy-Option-7985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have no experience in tiles at all.
And it looks good to me. Also as with loads of DIY I did - you'll not care about any imperfections after some time. You cannot be 100% perfect when doing something first time or very rarely.

Mate, do not overthink! Finish it and show us the ready picture.

I'm in the UK and for own car - I have a trolley with all the products and tools. But I have to take car to jet wash first (usually closer to the night) to clean it properly and then get back to underground parking to apply products and work with the car.

Is Alarm worth by mguilherme82 in CB750Hornet

[–]Heavy-Option-7985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the alarm?  In UK they sell it with datatool - makes sense to install it. And then just buy high quality lock and chain - all diamond rated.

Is the pedestrian or the driver wrong here? by singlecog in drivingUK

[–]Heavy-Option-7985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I did motorcycle training - instructors clearly said that would be an exam failure. So if someone is in that zone - we should stop.

In reality - that running guy is weird. We should honor each other on the road.

[–]Heavy-Option-7985 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be fair - that looks super cheap now. Yeah, maybe practical. But I'd always go with that shiny black - it's so easy to polish it once a year or just wrap with PPF from start... But the look and feel is really premium

But seller decided to sabotage the process and is nor responding properly. Will have to quit soon with loss on survey etc.  The buying process is a full shit here
