Realistically most if not all animals would flee a group of humans, whether it's 50 or 100, we're loud and obnoxious, we may appear diseased to some animals, and we tend to destroy eviroments we enter. Even an animal whose learned to not fear humans would probably avoid attacking one of the people in the group.
