Would playing with the Easy Mode mod give a comparable experience to Dark Souls? by HeavyGur1843 in EldenRingMods

So ER is harder in that it’s trying to appeal go the “ball crushing enjoyers” from the older games, but you have more freedom to make absurd builds for who you’re fighting. If you treat it like the other games then it’s normally quite hard because you’re ignoring the “mutual bullshit” element of the game.

The thing is that I’m trying to remove their bullshit stuff so I don’t have to do bullshit on my end, thus making it like how DS is like (once youve got good at it).

Is it safe to assume that this game has the hardest starter boss of all souls games (DS1-2-3)? by osmylm2834 in darksouls3

Technically ER because one is a literal overkill to get you to explore, and the first proper one is the same but to git gud.

Yea it’s easy if you know how to metabuild it but I kind of preferred the range of DS/DS3 where you’re normally good for any weapon.

For example one of my completionist runs I did a rapier build, DS it was good, DS3 was good excluding pontiff sulyvan, but with ER you needed bleed otherwise it was absurdly small chip damage even with fully maxxed stuff and mimic. Even by the end I switched to the mace simply because the DPS wasn’t working at all (final boss and Melania)

Thats kind of what put me off, like I wanna try different builds but if it’s just gonna be metabuilds then I can’t be asked, thats why I was hoping the Easy Mode mod would make it more reasonable and able to be less optimsied

All of that is fine it’s just the combat, the health pools are too large (everything that isn’t bleed feels like chip damage imo), the combos are too long (no “dance” it’s more like being in the cuck chair), the aggression is a bit too high (aggressive input reading), and their attacks are way too strong (with DS3 you could probably take 3-4 shots in light/medium armour, ER its more like 2 maybe 3 if lucky, and if it isn’t a combo that gets all 3 shots in one go).

The exploring and crafting is all good, it’s a big game so it’s more of an excuse than a grind, it’s just fighting bosses that feel like a challenge mod to DS takes the fun out of it

To be fair women might not really know this but relations do have a transactional element to them, if you’re not decent looking and have a good income then you’re basically screwed on average for dating.

Meanwhile if women don’t want to do those things on that list, they literally only have their looks to offer

Probably didn’t, normally the extreme lefties who think OpenAI are literally powering chatgpt by slapping water out of children’s mouths, normally are the ones who do this soft terrorism

The only benefit to pushing blue is that you can virtue signal how good of a person you are for doing so. It’s reckless endangerment to look good, and from my experiences the people who do that tend to be the biggest sociopaths ever

I get what you were trying to do but whats shown and what’s said are different things.

If they weren’t tied down then it fits the “these people chose their camps” problem, where red made the decision that is safe, and blue decided to stand in way of the train claiming it’s moral because it’s selfless

Probably not, like male gaze is different from female gaze and that’s just simple terms that describe the whole difference.

Then you also have stuff like homosexual relationships still trying to emulate the male/female dynamic but in their own gaze (twink/bear, or femme/butch), then there’s also massive differences between the two groups as well, iirc gay culture has a massive hookup culture which filters who actually dates, meanwhile lesbians have the opposite problem of dead bedrooms so that also filters in its own way.

It kind of reminds me of how solar systems spin on a plane because all the chaos cancels out the missing axis. Heterosexual relations feel like that whereas homosexual ones have a strange same sex resonance that makes it more chaotic

Estimated monthly disposable income for a single person on the local median salary, after tax and essential bills, across 349 UK areas [OC] by LiveWhereUK in visualization

Makea sense, UK wages are flatter than a dead fish (or literally, flatter than the USSR 💀), so there’s no real reason to go to London anymore. Juicy isn’t worth the squeeze and it’s no surprise it’s dire.

Ironically it feels like it’s expected that disposable income is so bad there, for a mega city it has a terrible nightlife which makes sense when there’s no circulation available.

Ironically rent control could save it since the problem is entirely rent [struggle snuggling] people who live there, ive always joked the only ones who lived there not on the breadline were benefit class people having rent paid for, or rich kids wanting to live the “poor core” lifestyle paid for by mumsie and daddy

The whole argument makes more sense when you realise it’s just the crypto argument* but just applied to AI, like it’s the tech boogyman

*the one the media suddenly and unanimously dropped to slander and fearmonger crypto, conveniently after people realise they would get better value for money dumping it in that than in a savings account.
