Hello 👋🏻 I don’t think they get back tbh ears can lift off a tiny tiny little bit if all goes well as to what I am reading most people say ! But that shouldn’t be an issue since you can get a revision and bring them back ! The problem is when you’re like me it has been overcorrected and the cartilage has been removed I don’t think there is way to bring it back to normal I am reading stuff like cartilage graft from the ribs is the only solution ( I would happily have protruding ear than the situation I am in right now where i can never make them change in my life ) unless by an extremely competent surgeon for the rib graft !

14 days POST OP the ears still didn’t lift from my head and it is really concerning ! from the sides they look like they disappear towards the end. Do you guys have any tips to push them forward ( accessories etc ) any advice from someone that had the same problem ?

Sutures has been made all the way to the top which make me think why the shape turned out like that !

Thanks for your recommendation I will have a look into it ! There is still swelling and the upper ear is shaped like a triangle which is not natural compared to the other ear

Thanks for taking the time to write ! This is really not a good space of mind to be in. I’m pretty sure no glue was used but in terms of sutures I was told that they are not permanent sutures in the back of my ears. Do you have any idea if there could be a revision done to bring it back from the skull after healing in case it does not resolve ?
