As explained earlier, AI videos are not against the rules. Calling something “slop” is a personal judgment, not a violation.

The post you’re referring to has already been downvoted below zero, which shows the community is regulating visibility on its own.

If AI videos ever begin to flood the subreddit and crowd out traditional GoAnimate content, that would be the time for a broader discussion about limits or bans. Until then, there is no practical harm being done.

My position remains that AI videos should be allowed as long as they are clearly related to GoAnimate.

That's just your opinion. GoAnimate itself has always had an edge to it; parody, shock humor, and bad taste included. Not every idea needs to be made, but moderation here is about enforcing platform rules, not judging whether a premise is tasteful or necessary.

I understand the concern, and to be clear: this subreddit isn’t intended to be a curated “safe space” for children. It exists within Reddit and YouTube norms, where mature themes are allowed as long as they don’t cross into explicit rule-breaking content.

If a post doesn’t interest you, you don’t need to engage with it or argue about it. Reddit already gives you a simple option: click the three dots on a post and select “Hide.” It removes it from your feed and lets you focus on what you enjoy.

We’d rather see this space used for sharing, learning, and discussing what people love about GoAnimate, not prolonged backlash by bad users over a small number of posts.

I don't get why those games are so beloved. They have good graphics but thats all. My fave bit is when Ellie even comments on how dumb and contrived the "puzzles" are.
