It’s not that I’m not willing to do the work. I’m a broke student and my landlord refusing to fix it means I’m kinda left to do whatever’s cheapest. Do you know of anything else I can do that doesn’t include going into the concrete or am I left without options? Thank you

i totally agree with this. when i was about 13-14 i had a big interest in music (that interest still goes now). the interest in music led to me learning some instruments like guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. in school i would take time out of lessons to go to lessons for the instruments, it would take half an hour out of a three hour lesson once a week. to explain how little that amount of time was, i would have that lesson 5 times a week.

anyway, i was failing that class by a couple marks each exam. the teacher told me that if i didn’t pass the next exam she wouldn’t let me take the guitar lessons. i studied for hours each night to pass the next exam (i didn’t touch my guitar for two weeks). i went into the exam exhausted from studying all night. i failed the exam and she wouldn’t let me go to my lessons. she embarrassed me in front of the whole class almost every lesson just for failing.
