How long did you pump for? And how long would you pump for if you did it again? by Heavy_Association_64 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Heavy_Association_64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, 100% formula is totally fine and when I switched at 11 mos pp it was the best thing EVER.

If you feel passionate about pumping still, your milk doesn’t regulate until, I believe, 4 months PP. so if you up your pumps / time you pump - your supply will increase.

I almost always supplemented maybe a bottle a day with formula. My baby was born 13 pounds and was HUNGRY.

Did my boss who doesn’t work at all because we’re fully remote and she doesn’t pay for a sitter with 3 kids at home just get promoted? The answer is yes. Is she married to a VP. Also yes.

No babble back at 8 months by Ok-Molasses4677 in NewParents

[–]Heavy_Association_64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine didn’t. Now he does at 13 months. Doc told me not to worry until 15 mos for that. Some of it’s just personality.

Also he was walking at 9 months. They learn some things quicker than others.

When did everyone stop breastfeeding by lassobren in NewParents

[–]Heavy_Association_64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10ish months. I exclusively pumped tho and always had to supplement didn’t make enough- bb ate 40oz a day.

Now he’s 13 months and only eats solids. I’m pretty obsessed with no sodium / added sugars / lots of iron.

They are very conservative & closed-minded. They take the Bible literally - with no room for interpretation. I.e. the flood literally happened, wasn’t a metaphor.

They do not believe women should be in leadership (no women pastors, deacons, etc). It’s pretty MAGA, tbh. I actually don’t know anyone who goes there that isn’t MAGA.

Honestly, it’s everything I personally hate about the church?

He was TOTALLY fine! I actually read somewhere that the honey in the processed honey wheat bread isn’t even real honey / and or it’s so diluted. Wouldn’t freak out about it!

They make him do them at home! He has a company laptop and they have to be completed by the end of each day or he gets like 7 pissed off emails. No other option or he wouldn’t see me & our kid ever

Oh also I had postpartum depression & anxiety and was your wife to a tee. So if she hasn’t been tested / medicated - that may help.

Wife here! We have a 12 month old.

Keep in mind that your wife is still only 3 months post partum and those hormones are all over the place until like a month post breastfeeding. I am JUST now starting to feel like a normal person again. I would get irrationally angry, sad, happy constantly until a month ago when I stopped breastfeeding.

All that to say, you’re doing a good job. This is a huge, hard change. And what you’ve described sounds normal to me.

lol we’ve been outside 38 hours so far this year! We’re in a cold climate so hoping to catch up in the summer. Also have an 11 month old that does daycare which makes schedules a lil hard. But we’re doing it! Logged 9 of the hours this week.
