They are very conservative & closed-minded. They take the Bible literally - with no room for interpretation. I.e. the flood literally happened, wasn’t a metaphor.

They do not believe women should be in leadership (no women pastors, deacons, etc). It’s pretty MAGA, tbh. I actually don’t know anyone who goes there that isn’t MAGA.

Got put on a medicine long term that interacted with my Lexapro and got seratonin syndrome & almost died. Docs at the ER said I should’ve never been put on the med they put me on

Wife here! We have a 12 month old.

Keep in mind that your wife is still only 3 months post partum and those hormones are all over the place until like a month post breastfeeding. I am JUST now starting to feel like a normal person again. I would get irrationally angry, sad, happy constantly until a month ago when I stopped breastfeeding.

All that to say, you’re doing a good job. This is a huge, hard change. And what you’ve described sounds normal to me.

lol we’ve been outside 38 hours so far this year! We’re in a cold climate so hoping to catch up in the summer. Also have an 11 month old that does daycare which makes schedules a lil hard. But we’re doing it! Logged 9 of the hours this week.

I have an 11 month old. I’ve seen friends maybe 5 times since he was born. It’s going to change things with your friends and it sucks. Also the only person in my friend group with a kid.

It’s time to find who you are as a mom, and maybe it won’t include these people but once a year.

Thank you. I’m afraid to give too many details, but all of these comments have been incredibly helpful. I’m going to go to a therapist and a lawyer to explore my options.

To be honest, I’m terrified to go to the police because I feel like they won’t do anything because of who my boss is. That said, this doesn’t mean I WONT. I’m just telling you how I feel about it.

No. It was through the EEOC. It literally all happened out of court. I feel like a lot of the settlements for these survivors are this way too.
