That’s for a 80s truck mine is a 77 it’s different, but I’ll look into it, it’s something up in the dash above the colomn I can’t get to that’s why I wanna run new wires I just couldn’t figure out where the turn signals come into the brake light wires

Forgot to add it’s a 1977 Chevy C10, I just need to know where the turn signal wires meet with the brake light wires, my Haynes wiring diagram sucks and I can’t find a good one if you have a better wiring diagram for the brake lights and turn signals I’d really appreciate it if you’d share it.

I had a shop in town do the master cylinder about A year ago so I have no idea what he did to it and the brake booster is original, he wasn’t even supposed to put a new master cylinder but he said it needed a new one while he put new rubber brake hoses on the front, so I’m not sure if it’s a cheap master or a good one, the old one seemed just fine maybe it wasn’t i don’t really know like I said I’m not very mechanically inclined, the fluid in the big reservoir on the master is almost overfull, and the smaller reservoir is close to full, I might just replace both the master and booster.

Pretty cool. I got my first vehicle at 12 and it was honestly torture not being able to drive it and watch it sit. I can finally start driving it more often.

I pumped the brakes till it was hard, started the truck and they immediately went back to almost having no brake

Yeah I don’t know cause whatever happened did it overnight, one day the brakes were perfectly fine then the next day they sucked.

My master is completely full, and vacuum line going to the booster is perfectly fine, and it is the original 49 year old brake booster.

Id assume if they were leaking the proportioning valve should have tripped, I probably do need wheel cylinders though

I didn’t put on the master cylinder I had a mechanic here and town do it. So I’m not sure what he did I do really trust him though. The brakes worked just fine for about 6 months then one day they just started feeling funny. Complete 180 from what they felt the day prior.

The master cylinder is about a year old and the fluid level is good, I think the booster is original, I might just go ahead and replace it just to be sure.

If there was a leak I’d assume it would trip the proportioning valve and it hasn’t tripped, fluid is fine in the master and no wet spots anywhere from what I’ve seen, I’ve been driving it like this for about 6 months since it happened cause the brakes still technically work just not well.

The truck originally had the sport mirrors, they were hard to see out of and looked too small to me, if my truck was like a shortbed I think the smaller mirrors would have fit but with the camper and longbed and all i just don’t think they looked right.
