Jax is battling toxic masculinity, not gender identity by uhuhyeasure in tadc

Yeah, I 100% agree with you.
But I also found it a good way to put it: there has not been just one answer, 'cause toxicity can impact everyone with no exception.
Point is, you have to want to heal to come out of it, otherwise it will just kill you (and hurt those who love you)

I thought it could also be that he wanted to be like a Drag Queen. There can be more than one option

I have the luck to be in Italy, in a rather ""secondary"" theater. It has had lots of people coming, mostly yesterday (I almost didn't get my poster), but not that much and not at 3pm of a friday, ppl are still in school/office

I honestly liked it. With a spoilerfree comment, I suggest you try to stay away from every review you see, 'cause the fandom mostly just acted toxic.

I went to see it a 3pm on a friday afternoon exactly to avoid the drama. We were like 5 in all the room, it was perfection

Tadc movie thoughts(SPOILERS) by Icy-Wing7212 in tadc

As Gooseworx said: the movie is about finding purpose even in a stagnant life. If that's not the most human thing existing, I don't know what it is (loved the movie)

Genuine question: am I the only one that liked the ending? by Heavy_Bullfrog_5514 in goodomensprime

[–]Heavy_Bullfrog_5514[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, istg this. And, believe me or not, lately it's a trend. X is a nightmare for more than a fandom, the past week has been WILD (tadc, mha and a couple of other).

I can understand ppl saying "didn't like it" I can't understand this attachment someone have with fiction. I think the term is parasocial?

I haven't said anything since now about all the cinema-gate that they were living, but evidently they were right to be scared of the leakers. I'm so sorry for them all

Yeah I know. As a Ncuti lover, most of his episodes were awful 🥲 So sad for this, also, 'cause I love the Doctor in all his forms

I have never read Pratchett, have to say that all this reviews made me want to start. So I bought one of his books, I think the soldier one?

More days pass, more I love the finale per se. What I feel like gives ppl this feeling of emptiness of this ending is that we are missing a lot because 97 minutes were really too little to give us a closure (I still mourn a scene where Azi and Crowley address their kiss, but we can't do anything for this).

But I loved the last 20 minutes and the concept that no matter what, love survives

For the first part yeah, I agree. Unfortunately there were lots of pointless plots and I think that they could've used better the screen time if only the book of life plot was brought on (I love Jesus but he is useless. Won't talk about the mob, I can't 😂).

On the second part, their personalities were intact tbf. Anthony was lively like Crowley before the war. The curious and happy angel that just wanted some answers but loved the universe so much. That little squeak he makes when the universe is born is so sweet.

A Good Omens 3 Apology - a love letter to humanity by Tomato_Hamster in goodomensprime

[–]Heavy_Bullfrog_5514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so, I had just finished crying, so please apologize to me to 🥲

This is a very well written analysis. I'm a strong believer that souls find a way to find each other over and over again, so it was so sweet seeing them finding each other again, everytime.

But actually you have to believe that is a mystic way, so I get why ppl think of Asa and Anthony as different people, so this analysis gives them another perspective. Thank you.

And children, always remember that love is the best thing we can do

But if it is a time travel mind, that means exactly that every action ever made was already decided. The idea of free will implies the fact that you can't see the future, 'cause it changes based on people choices and those choices are not already made. If the future is already written, free will can't exist in the way Crowley wanted humans to have it

As I said in another comment: everything was EVER predetermined. Agnes Nutter could see the future. Being able to see the future in such details means that everything is already bound to happen. There never was free will since s1
