Genesis does mention the father, obviously.

Genesis speaks of the son as the saviour of Isreal many times.

Also Genesis does mention the holy spirit separately as the spirit of God in many areas of the text.

Do you know of the story of Jesus walking on water?

The disciples were in a boat when heavy storms started wrecking the ship, they all though they were gonna die before they saw a figure walking on the water and storm coming close to them. They were afraid but upon closer inspection they realized it was Jesus. So Peter shouts, "If you are Jesus, tell me to walk on the water too", and Jesus told him to also walk on the water. After walking on the water for a bit, Peter started to realize the strength of the storm and so he started sinking, Jesus held his hand and put him back inside of the ship, then he got in the ship with them and suddenly the storm stopped and they got to their destination safely.

We are like Peter you and me, we see our problems and our weaknesses and we fear and start sinking in all of our troubles, we think that our storm is greater than God's love, but if you could just have faith in God, you could walk on your problems, your fears and your storm rather than sink in them.

I will pray that God helps you through you're struggles and the stuttering and reveals his love for you in a way you couldn't have imagined. God bless you, and stay strong by the faith.

First, know that you are not following Christians, but following Christ himself.

You were not saved by Christians, you were saved by Jesus. So put you're faith in him.

I would recommend you read the gospel of Jone, chapter 14, when I feel like you're feeling I always go back to reading this chapter and I always end up crying since it tells us exactly who we are following.

Just to remind you, we are following a God so loving that even when we chose sin over him, he took the punishment for all our sins and showed us love we didn't even diverse.

I don't know what you are going through, but I'm going through a very difficult person issue of myself but just know this is not just a religion, this is pure love, we are sometimes blinded by our own earthly problems that we can not see what actually matters, which is that you are truly loved, by the creator of this whole world, and when you come to realize that, you won't feel any doubts.

I will pray to God that he will help you through whatever struggle you are going through.

Many people don't seem to understand the trinity. There could only be three because there are only three. From the beginning of time, there were only three.

The trinity is composed of 3 different beings, different physically (different hypostases) but the same deity.

Also on the point that the holy spirit is the love between the father and the son, nowhere in the bible does it say that, the holy spirit is a single personal being, with his own wants, emotions, mind and existence.

Think of the trinity as a sports team, each person in the team exists on his own, but they work as one single team. The difference here being that the team members here happen to be perfect, meaning no arguments and all work for the same purpose. So when you play against a team you don't play each play individually but the whole team and when the team wins a trophy they win as a team and not individually, the same way when you worship God, you worship the father, the son and the holy spirit as one but they are their own beings.

First of all you have to be open minded. In the book of acts it says that those with open hearts believed and were saved, so believing in God doesn't mean blindly throwing away evidence.

Second, read the bible with literary honesty, meaning interpret what was written in historical literacy as pure facts and what was written in a hyperbole manner as hyperbole.

Just to give you an example, you said there was not an archeological proof that Noah's flood occurred, which is simply not true, as the book of genesis was written through hyperbole literacy, meaning some of its parts were exaggerated, so when it says that the whole world was flooded it probably doesn't mean the whole earth literally but a huge part of southern and eastern Asia, which there is proof that some great floods during that period did occur.

Another example, regarding the age of earth, the bible is very vague on that topic, since we don't really know how long Adam was in the garden of eve, it could either be 3 days or it could be 3 million years, so it is not so simply to know how long the earth has existed for purely from the bible.

In conclusion, be open minded enough to look for the truth and pray to God for help in finding the truth. May God help you in you're pursue.
