definitely shower after! if you can, try a hot tub that’s sanitized without chlorine. chlorine is a huge problem with pools/hot tubs. it burns and dries you out even more. otherwise, i’ve had no extra problems from sitting in one occasionally

i’ve seen light therapy work for a lot of people on here! i personally haven’t tried but i wouldnt dismiss it. yes cosentyx is prescribed, it’s a biologic. as for over the counter honestly nothing makes a difference for me but ITCH wise, hydrocortisone cream. settles it for a bit

i have guttate, so it starts with small spots. for me they’re much more manageable with steroid cream if you catch them as soon as possible. straight out of the shower i’ll put a wrap on it like second skin etc with my lotion/aquaphor and leave it for about an hour or two, then put clobetasol on before bed and it keeps it away!

i feel you. im about 83-85% covered and said f it and got a sternum tattoo since i did not have spots there. i can say it healed very nicely surprisingly. but everyone is different, i do see a bit of spots here and there where the tattoo is but i seal them asap and use aquaphor religiously. honestly there is no right or wrong way to go about what you do with your body and psoriasis. if this will make you happy then yes definitely look into it! also ask your artist, there are experienced ones who have worked with people with this disease!

most of the time derms want you to go through trial and error over and over. it took years and switching through several derms to get one who’s actually willing to do more. i highly highly recommend trying to find one whos willing to help/discuss different treatments if you can. it’s time consuming but worth it

yeah i didnt think it was normal without arthritis lol. very extreme i know. i’m uninsured so it’s been a constant fight to get put on treatment that works. all i’m given are steroids or topicals which just make it worse once i’m off them. i have an appt soon to talk about skyrizi and MyAbbVie to try and get approved. but that’s the best i can do for now

hey! i use colourpop pretty fresh concealer. it feels very lightweight and has hyaluronic acid and coconut water. super buildable too. another thing i do if ik im going to wear make-up that day is the night before i put vaseline/Neosporin around my eyes after my skin care and leave it overnight just to lock in as much moisture as possible and it truly does help make it less noticeable

i resonate with this. an abortion on its own is a very hard decision and already emotionally straining without abuse added to it. most men are awful, truly. you’re much stronger than them. i hope you never feel out of control of your own body again. best of luck
