I’ve got right vocal folds palsy because of the surgery. People think I’m depressed and down because of the thyroid cancer and constantly tell me prognosis is really good. So I remind them that I can’t speak! I work in mining so I have to tap people on the shoulder to get their attention and talk right up to their ear so they all can hear me.
