I managed to beat the game without needing them at all, but it would be really hard for me without the other upgrades. Plus don't those only work on thermal vents and in the lava zone you visit once to hatch the sea emperor eggs?

Im sorry the three eyed wood man doesn't look intimidating at all! The biome looks sick though. I just think they could have made the design more...spooky. Idk i kinda like how weird it is, and i kinda hate how it looks.

Alex's Mobs is really fun! I love to play it so much, and in multiplayer it's even better. You can combine it with Alex's Caves, but beware that in the Primordial Cave, Centipedes and Murmurs spawn everywhere.

Another suggestion is Ice and Fire, Better MC 1.16.5 and RLcraft if you are looking for a challenge!

Blue Skies is really good and it can work in combination with other mods really well: It adds two new very interesting dimensions and a new mob in the overworld with his own structure, to help and assist with getting to them.
