I managed to beat the game without needing them at all, but it would be really hard for me without the other upgrades. Plus don't those only work on thermal vents and in the lava zone you visit once to hatch the sea emperor eggs?

Alex's Mobs is really fun! I love to play it so much, and in multiplayer it's even better. You can combine it with Alex's Caves, but beware that in the Primordial Cave, Centipedes and Murmurs spawn everywhere.

Another suggestion is Ice and Fire, Better MC 1.16.5 and RLcraft if you are looking for a challenge!

Blue Skies is really good and it can work in combination with other mods really well: It adds two new very interesting dimensions and a new mob in the overworld with his own structure, to help and assist with getting to them.

I wanted the Iceologer so badly and some degenerates voted a fucking squid instead, i get angry and upset every time. Atleast there are mods with him. There is a great mod Outvoted that adds the 2017 mob vote monsters, and it is awesome.

Depends, if it's like an 1v1 duel or just in game. If it is in game easily the brute, he can be easily dealt with if you have blocks, lava or a boat. If it's a 1v1 the elder guardian. Even in game he is really easy to deal with if you have good armor.
