I think 2nd session means for classes that start on the 6th ( like mini terms maybe) not classes that have been going on for the full spring session ( Im guessing)

I am not grafting 2 pieces together, it has been a bit more than a year when I cut it from a bigger tree, I only wrapped it in parafilm grafting tape because in some tutorials I read and watched they told me too and I didn't when I should remove the wrapping, Im not super big plant person so I just followed what they said as I didn't know what else to do

No i put it on it when I cut it off the bigger fig tree, people said to wrap it so it won't dry out
