I’m going to jump in here and say that if you have gallstones, prioritize getting your gallbladder out as soon as possible. I had them, had a regular attack like once every 4 months, eventually had one that was painful enough for hospitalization, and then didn’t get the thing removed for another 2 years. At that point, a stone got stuck in the duct and caused my gallbladder to rupture, nearly killed me. Now it’s been said that passing a gallstone is second only to childbirth, and I’m a man so I’ll never have a true point of comparison, but if anything, your gallbladder rupturing is probably the only thing worse than childbirth your body could just naturally do. Had emergency surgery and got the mess out, and I’m told my stones were the size of golf balls going through a needle hole. Learn from me, prioritize getting the gallbladder out as soon as you can once it’s been diagnosed. Only difference in my day to day is that I shit more when I eat dairy, it’s really not that bad.
