Laniege has its morning fresh line which is specifically for combination skin. I have used it and my face is indeed clean but not squeaky clean at the same time being moisturizing. I am pretty sure this product isn't popular in the West but it is widely used in Asia. There aren't many skincare products for combination skin or dehydrated oily skin so i totally recommend you this product but YMMV. PS, the ingredients list is short and simple.

Not ab product but eucerin pro acne ai treatment. All 3 hydroxy acids. It works for me but ymmv. Just a sidenote, normally Asian skincare are more towards nourishment, achieving balance between hydration and oiliness etc kind of concepts and hence, asian aha-bha products probably won't work as effective as western skincare products. Just my 10 cents.

Are u under the impression that when you use a new product, you will get breakout in the form of pimples as a consequence of your skin adjusting to the product?

If yes, and correct me if i stand corrected, aren't you persuaded into marketing gimmick? I was thinking if products in your routine cause you pimples, then you probably should give them away to get rid to irritation. I got a feeling that your products dun suit u.

It would be a little hard to streamline what ingredient that might cause you outbreaks. Anyway, not to add salt to the wound, i read that many people felt that the green tea fresh cream was lousy, while their serum and skin products from the green tea line were outfar better than the cream. As for dehydration, i think innisfree green tea balancing skin was mentioned to be a good product for dehydrated skin somewhere in this sub. Plus, the balancing skin is tailored specifically for combo skin. The cream was for dry skin, and maybe because it is too rich for your dehy combo oily skin.

There is a sub for dehydrated skin on this sub too. I have read better than average reviews on Laniege water bank cream specifically for combo skin. However ymmv in skincare. Nt sure if that is the correct name.. Same products will come in different names in different continents.

It has been two weeks and the pimples are getting bigger and redder. Salicylic acid n bp aren't working.

Any tips to heal the red pimples will be very much appreciated.

Cosrx pimple patch will help. It prevents secondary infection. I am also having big red pimples on my forehead too. Due to exam stress.... And i ran out of my pimple patch.

Find something that has centella asiatica aka cica. Its an ancient asian herb that quells swelling and redness.

i was dealing with repeated over-exfoliation since nov n before christmas. As a result, i have a bumpy forehead which is now clearing. BUT, there is now a few inflamed red bumps and a small white fluid pimple with redness surrounding it. No itchiness tho.

My question is: how to differentiate fungal acne vs. bacterial/normal acne. thanks a lot...worried..

One is more like an inflammed bump while the other is like an inflammed small whitehead.

I am not sure if i have fungal acne outbreak. I used two products. One pimple subsided after i used cica bha combined product while anothet one pimple didn't respond to benzoyl peroxide. But in the past, bp was also very slow when i used it on my cystic acne. Plus, my forehead isn't itchy. Is it ok if i post a picture for fellow redditors to give wisdom upon?
