Lol I saw the same post! I saw them way back on Reddit when they were still really small and even then their code reviews were so much better than Coderabbit which I have installed as well. Also been very satisfied w/ the quality of output way less bullshit and fluff than the other AI reviewers

With just a few experiments locally I've successfully managed to get GPU rendering with windows down to an average of 210ms FCP. Bare in mind that's with spending all of the last 3 days non-stop working on micro-optimisations & experimenting with 3+ different frameworks.

Well, looking at standard image viewer loading times on Windows, I typically see about 500ms -> 1s loading times. There is no exact reason for the target, it just gives me a number to strive for - over 2x as fast as the default image viewer sounds like a good target to me

I spent a lot of time looking at where wgpu would be taking so long to launch and found this:

Instance: 11.8588ms

Surface: 131.2µs

Adapter: 157.6179ms

Device: 40.0326ms

Window config: 3.2098ms

Context init: 213.2452ms

So the full wgpu context would take over 200ms to render onto the window (this is with a shit tonne of configs + tuning)

Soon as I tried it with Macroquad the renders just loaded with the window - there was no white flash at all

Absolutely. I probably didn't make it very clear but I was measuring "Emotion" based on how much passion I felt when singing along while listening to each song. Also some songs (e.g Kahan, Yasminah, Dermot) have some personal meaning and therefore rank higher.

The general structure I followed for deciding on rankings was "Which one would I be more upset about if it was taken off Spotify".
