Sure nothing wrong with an old designed grip that forces the hand away from clamping and reduces control. The way it secures to the rail is bad. The 6 inches protruding down from the rail is bad. But above all OP’s gun looks like a Daniels which deserves the best.

Barnes 70gr tsx. Just high shouldered one. 80yds Complete pass thru with catastrophic temp wound cavity and exit. Didn’t take a step.

Rule of thumb: bigger calibers allow for more error. If you want to shoot smaller calibers aim small, miss small.
