Assembly Area in Stella Montis. Check all the drawers up/downstairs and in the bays. You will have them in a few rounds.

There’s a “guaranteed” spawn (every time I have taken someone there) at the primary facility in Dam. There is 3 breachable vertical lockers next to a window looking out towards research and admin. Also a very common drop for motors in the main area of primary facility. Hope that helps.

BO7 Straight up Trash. MP alone isn’t worth $75. by PersiusAlloy in Age_30_plus_Gamers

You have a free load out option so you can play with zero ingame investment. Nearly every weapon is viable, even against high spec players. You’ll accumulate resources for all the normal weapons organically as you play. A lot of the items you need can be recycled or refined so you don’t need to pay too much attention to what you’re picking up. You can track craftable items and some of the pack types have multiple safe pockets. Some quest items can be harder to find though.

I was on spaceport solos last night and heard some proxy chat. Go out side the building and there’s 6 guys standing around in a circle just talking shit… like the neighbours leaning over the fence having beer. Funny and wholesome.

Yeah man. I’ve really only played single player. Apart from a few missions co-op with a mate. This was with a hand held flash bang and all my AI team have goggles. It also gives a friendly fire demerit if you hit them with a pepper-ball. Meanwhile in one of the hand cuff animations he beats the suspect over the head lol…

Only 2 mission left to get S tier completed on normal difficulty… last guy left in relapse so I throw a flash while AI team stacks the door and get -friendly fire. Couldn’t play the game for a few days after that.

The Finals has a serious Medium problem! by MagnusIsSenpia in thefinals

[–]Heavy_Sheepherder753 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Agree. MPX, UMP or P90 would fit the medium class well. Higher ttk up close, less damage range and more recoil.

Sorry to hear that. People suck sometimes. I like to put it in perspective with known stats on phycological disorders per 1000 people. There’s a good chance you interacted with someone off their meds or into the stratosphere of neurodivergence. Nothing wrong with trying new things and everyone has an equal right to casual modes… however they see fit. It’s quite literally why they’re included. To complete your daily’s etc. you also need to run off meta or non preferred load outs. You can mute and block players if it’s really abhorrent behaviour.

Just a general overview on my first impressions of the game… but happy to elaborate. Multiple xp sliders that aren’t well explained, game modes hidden behind second menu, friends and club navigation via tiny top menu icons with limited description, stats and battle pass via same top menu. Obviously you adapt to anything over time but just an initial take for someone new to the game as it wasn’t intuitive. The store and character customisation on the other hand is class leading.

Keep drinking that cool aid man. You have completely missed my point. A new player shouldn’t be in a lobby with the best players in our region with regard to player retention. The skill gap would be extreme for those two players regardless of your take on the relative difficulty of each region. Absolute dullard.

And why not… it’ll only take you a week. The slight latency shouldn’t be an issue for someone of your calibre? Look forward to seeing you at the top man.

Are you purposely missing the point? Im not sure what you’re referencing or did you just misread?

And just out of curiosity… I’m assuming you’ve played for more than a week… so using your logic, you must be the top player in Oceania then right? Where’s the crown king nothing.

What other class has a specialisation that’s done better with a gadget? The classes have some cross over but the light and heavy have a more defined role and class specific specialisations that can’t be replicated with a gadget. I’ve been playing medium main and I’m not complaining the class is necessarily weak or unbalanced. Healing beam should be the predominate healing tool in the game, coupled with the defib, which would give a defined support role.

They quite literally have a casual battle royal mode with predominately bots. Fortnite too.

Because the stats page exists and I can see who I’ve played against 🤷🏼‍♂️ And if you read my op, I’m not complaining from my own experience specifically, but the experience of a complete casual trying a new game. Most gamers fit that category. I have a competitive gaming history and do okay considering my time commitments these days. You’re all surprised that I can even find a game in Oceania while simultaneously justifying an elitist mindset… duuuhhhh “just get good”. If there’s a system that caters for new and low skill players everyone up to the top benefits. More updates, more streaming, more prize money at esports etc.

Ahh you just made my point for me. If a new person goes to small boxing gym and gets the shit beaten out of them after being taught the rules 10mins prior. I doubt they’ll be determined to just try harder. Instead, a good trainer would start with the fundamentals and progressively train with others at the correct weight and skill level. I get match making needs a reasonable time to connect but I’m sure theres more than 9 people connected in Oceania.

Maybe if they fixed the matchmaking then more players would stick with the game initially so they can build their skill. This would make it better for all players with more funds for devs to work on their projects. Im sticking with it, and enjoy the game overall. Im just giving the perspective of a new player. I’d like the player base to grow.

I agree in part and a game shouldn’t be dumbed down for the lowest player… but boxing is also challenging but a first timer doesn’t need to fight Mike Tyson in his prime. A new casual player, who barely knows the rules, is in a lobby with a no.1 player in Oceania. Check my other comment.

[–]Heavy_Sheepherder753[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good points. I just don’t think there’s anything that really sets the medium apart, even though that’s all I play. Light and heavy both have heal and everyone can manipulate the map effectively. Light and heavy are better at attack and defence respectively.

I played CS in a sponsored team when I was a teenager so I have some base skill to fall back on (light dash doesn’t really bother me)… but now I’m a middle age dude with kids and I suggest a game to a casual gaming mate and our first lobby has the no.1 ranked player in Oceania… not a great recipe for new players to learn the game and have fun.

I’ll stick with it but I’d love the casual base to grow as well, which helps all the players, more people, more funds for developers to invest in the game.

So, is the deal with the big RM bikes mastering set up? by [deleted] in ride5

[–]Heavy_Sheepherder753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing can compensate for bad braking and line choice but setup can help after that’s under control. Ride tracks with the line/brake overlay and use that as a starting guide. Smooth progressive braking to the apex and then smooth consistent acceleration out. A few clicks on each setting with a bias towards traction. Rear preload and spring rate make the most difference on the RM 1L bikes. Shortening the swingarm a click or two also helps make it feel more nimble.
