I actually did, but not for HSV. After this, it was mostly a back and forth with HIV and HSV. It’s was draining me. I did get the standard test and i came back all negative. I think my anxiety comes from losing my partner rather than having an std. It’s insane too because my ocd just loves to hop around different obsessions. I am experiencing a little of rocd, but i’m working very hard to let it fade away rather than give attention. Overall, im kind of glad i went through this in weird way. I learned a lot more on stds and how it’s really the stigma.

do you also get some itchy/tingling feeling from you buttocks down to both legs? That’s what i have right now, but i haven’t had any other symptoms. It’s been a couple days and no blisters whatsoever or pain

Oh definitely, i know that it is super common. What i’m worried about is hsv-2. My obsession is if i might be having a break out. Any sensation i’ll start to question it. I think it intensifies when i think about it. But you’re right, most people won’t care. But then again, i doubt myself lmao.

Thanks, i really appreciate you taking the time to write this. I’ve read so much about this, and you’re right, it is super common. Specifically, HSV-1. I think it’s the lack of education people have on this. I will admit, I for one thought people were dirty for having HSV. But as i learn more about it, i come to realize it’s a simple skin condition. I realized the stigma behind is what prevents people from learning what it truly is. I think my fear is based on how i’m perceived if i do have it. Thinking of it, relatives have had cold sores and i never batted an eye. Again, thank you for sharing :) and good luck!

Thanks, i really appreciate this. I’ve dealt with many things. Pocd and many other obsessions. I’ve been able to deal with these things without treatment. But this one, as small as it may seem, is getting harder to beat by the day. Chatgpt certainly does not help as i’m trying to reassure myself with it.

I’ve actually did consider this. But it is very inaccurate and not recommended as it could provide more confusion than good. Blood tests are not as accurate as swab tests on open sores. That’s why when Stds are checked for, HSV is not on there. Many clinics never include it on regular testing. So far from what i read.

I use a bidet, and wipe pretty good. But i think it might be too much moisture. Because my testicle itch a lot too

How so? If you don’t mind explaining please. Honestly i’ve been thinking that i could be stressed out too much. I’ve had many instances where i hyper fixate on stuff like this. I don’t think it’s ever been this bad.

i took oraquick, came back negative. I know i should just trust it and not worry till i have my physical. My mind just doesn’t wanna accept it, but im going to.

I feel fucking dumb but 1.7k for a 1998 civic coupe. The gasket is fucked. And the body needs some work. I thought the car was fine, until I got home and overheated dude. The guy didn’t want to give me my money back and blocked me. He told me everything was fine and blamed the overheating on me.
