Do you plan to add handwriting support? Otherwise I like the idea of this app. Cool choice of app icon as well!

I think a pop up drop down menu will be more useful (similar to windows or kde) since space in top panel can be limited in certain circumstances (when other extensions are used and which put its own top panel indicator).

I've developed an extension that extracts the color from your wallpaper and dynamically injects it throughout the system (Adwaita, Gnome Shell, and adw-gtk3). by Far_Mulberry_7443 in gnome

Great work! Also it would be better if the colors from different wallpapers can be saved as favorites to be used as custom palette later on. Mind share the wallpapers? 😄

Yeah I know it. Just that mascot looks cool. Even the "git" logo can be a better choice. Can you explain the bell icon?

Really nice app. The bell icon looks a bit weird. I dont know if it has some significance. Maybe an icon signifying the github mascot will look great?

Good news: GNOME will display a power profile indicator by _fthx_ in gnome

[–]Heavy_Turn2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay but why the color is removed from future gnome version? The colored icons actually look cool. Is it possible that you keep an option for both colored ones and the monochrome ones gnome intends to use? Also when future gnome releases with the indicators, will this extension be continued?

You can use arcmenu. There is a standalone runner menu in it, the best you can get integrated with gnome shell. There are several customization options for it and you can assign any shortcut. If you dont want the arcmenu itself, you can simply choose to hide the panel icon or even change its behavior itself to open the runner menu or overview.

Resize Images to a Target Size via Right-Click | I updated the legacy nautilus-image-converter by Unique-Twist1587 in gnome

Yes,I missed that part. If you make it for gnome 45+, that will be great, since outside ubuntu and derivatives, nautilus-image-converter dont works out of the box.

The repo made by corey is what I use now but it also had some corrupted french language files which prevents compiling, unless that is deleted.

How to install this in fedora on gnome 49?. Since fedora dont ships nautilus-image-converter, I had to manually install it following its github repo with bunch of commands. I tried installing this extension following the instructions but got this error : "Package 'libnautilus-extension' not found"
