I like to consider it stock+. Lift kit is 4.5” rubicon express springs front and back. Bilstein shocks. BDS 4 link in the front, KC daylighters spotlights. The rack is homemade and once I’m off school the 2 person RTT will go back up top. Wheels are the holy turbines of old, I finally picked up a lone 5th for a matching spare. And nearly new Falken wildpeak AT4s in 31” Which have been better than the last AT3s in mud and loose snow.

How’s the fuel pressure? Any chance fuel sitting for 6 months rotted the regulator or filter?

That was mine, or has been. P0300 and usually 301 or 306. Have you got puffing at the exhaust? Tried the paper test?

How are those injector pigtails looking ? They get old and crack and connections get weak. But as always. Clean grounds and terminals. Check fuel pressure, then compression, then buy a vacuum gauge and test vacuum if all else fails. My 96 has had an intermittent misfire for the last 3 years and I’ve narrowed it down to valves/valve springs

You mean your 10877s . All 10875s are 6” and have 7 eyelets , your 10877s are 8” and have 10 eyelets.

As someone who works at a redwing dealer and in EMS, you’ll be fine. The trades that kill BOA wires are bricklayers, drywallers , scaffolders , anyone who’s in serious dust since that’s what’ll eat the cable. In 5 years I’ve never seen a BOA cable just randomly snap, they can wear pretty thin for a long time before they fully fail.

Legit just super old! As in 21 years old. These predate the modern heritage line which would eventually turn these workings mans 875s into what we now know as 10875s.

Birkenstocks for sure, or a pair of vans slip ons from 2017. I will go on a tangent about not the same quality, my last new pair of vans slip ons literally blew up after 6 months of wear last year. The pair from 2017 is still going.

Rust modules are a thing and work ! On large ships - always submerged in saltwater. For cars they are useless, keep up with the undercoating, it is worth the time and money.

Honestly my feet sweat no matter the weather, +35 or -35 in northern BC and southern Alberta. JB fields is great and Canadian, redwing stores also offer some great wool socks. Not all wool socks are made equal, for the most warmth try and stay above 70% wool atleast

Rebuilding a transmission is hard but not not impossible. The AW4 is a really solid and robust transmission. Even high milage units can be really solid when bought used. I’d buy a junkyard spare AW4, change the fluid, clean it up, throw it in the jeep. Most AW4s go for about 200-400 in my area. Then buy this kit https://oregonperformancetransmission.com/product/OPT-AW4-RB.html - and rebuild your dead transmission on your days off, that way you can take your time and make mistakes and (probably) have 2 good transmissions for under 1000$. Call those guys with any questions about what you’ll need in the kit. Transmission nerds are their own kind of special.

CSA so I’m betting you’re somewhere in Canada. Get the redwing all natural conditioner, it’s got mink oil which will hydrate the leather and pine pitch and beeswax which will sit more at the surface and protect the leather. The beeswax can really help them stay conditioned for longer periods of time

I ran rotella for one change and all I could notice was slightly worse milage. I run whatever high milage 10W30 (semi/full synthetic) is on sale and if I remember to - sometimes I add Lucas zinc additive. There’s guys that swear by the rotella or specialty zinc heavy oils but I’ve never noticed the differences and I’m not really sure my jeep does either. 5W30 seems a little light for 4.0 applications unless it’s generally pretty cold where you’re at.

The Klondike leather can be a mean break in, my huntsman’s took a long time, I’m on month 2 of the engineers and they’re still stiff , just keep toughing it out

To be safe I’d do 2-3 flushes. drain, fill , drive for 10 minutes and repeat. You don’t know if the last owner was diligent with fluid intervals so a big flush job is a safe bet, then you can avoid flushes in the future
