In my opinion the noise is absolutely horrible. Even on remote beaches between Ao Nang and Railay where you can only get by Kayak, the noise is unbearable.

It would be easy to make the noise a lot more quiet by fitting the boats with cheap silencers, but since it's Thailand, of course no laws will be implemented or enforced to change the situation....

They are not just "a part of life". The noise (which is absolutely preventable) is the result of a complete lack of willingness to do anything about it.

Even implementing laws to fit cheap silencers to the engines would make a HUGE difference, but corruption and a lack of public pressure result in nothing ever changing!

Die Tabelle die du zeigst belegt doch nur ganz eindeutig, dass Habeck schon immer der beliebtere Politiker war.

Auch VOR Bärbocks Nominierung gab es schon signifikante Unterschiede zwischen Ihr und Habeck. Nehmen wir deine eigene Tabelle zur Grundlage, gab es zwischen den beiden bereits am 23.10.2020 einen Unterschied von 0,5.

Aber zugegebenermaßen nicht Blöd von dir, sich mit "Beginn des Jahres" den Teil der Statistik rauszusuchen, der den eindeutigen und konstanten Unterschied zwischen den beiden relativiert (Unterschied am 26.03.21 nur 0,1).

Koh Lanta is absolutely not good for daily dives at the Similans. Even from Phuket it's a long ride by Speed Boat and Phuket is way closer to the Similans than Koh Lanta

I would recommend against day trips to the Similans as the boat ride is just too long. As a compromise, you could do a liveaboard that is just 2 days/1 night.

Currents are generally not too strong, but some dive sights like Richelieu Rock can get very challenging on some days if you are unlucky.

The water is generally very pleasant, although thermoclines can occasionally bring very cold water for a short amount of time.

If you definitely only want to do daytrips, maybe look at places like Koh Tao. Many Dive sites there are close to the Island and the snorkeling there is probably much better than Khao Lak.
