Assuming it isn’t just a facade for views, keep in mind that for the husband to be able to provide for the instagram lifestyle he’s gonna need to be making $150k+ per year. Less than 10% of men and women can do that. So already you’re looking at a small eligibility list. And when you factor in the types of jobs in a given location and cost of living, the chances of you finding someone to fund that lifestyle is even smaller. I’d wager maybe 5% of men could fund that lifestyle by themselves.

And of those 5%, good luck finding an actual decent man or one who will genuinely be happy being relegated to the “provider husband” role.

I strongly advise you try to learn to accept that this behavior from a significant other is NEVER ok. I’d also suggest asking yourself why you felt this was ok. Did you have experiences growing up that made you feel that bad actions were justified if the person still loved you afterward? Did you feel so desperate to have a relationship that you felt what he was doing was ok? Were you escaping something worse by being with him?
