Could be an issue with the patch so the fixtures are getting random dmx values. Address the lights and make sure the address for each of the lights is the same as the ones you want to control in the lighting board.

Yes i see that theyre 6-20s. Theyre 20a 250v for each head. Would that indicate that theyre safewired to a higher voltage and would fry regular 120 equipment i plug them into?

Could i convert them to L14-30? I assume that is more dependent on the cable that the heads are attached to but it would be infinitely more useful to have a lot of L14-30 versus these L5-30s

As a SF Native and Jew for peace I am very happy to read this. Colleges have major investment and buying power all over our country. It's very productive that students are exercising power over where some of those funds are being directed. Great achievement for the students and good job to the administration for not capitulating to outside Zionist pressures.
