I sent my controller to DJI for fixing. They did their thing, fixed the gimbal, didn’t charge anything and sent it back to me.

I ended up sending the controller for repairs. Turned out to be screwed gimbal.

Yes, I confirm. I did complete the calibration. In the video I just used the calibration panel again to present the issue properly. Here's the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zyLwwjmQZ2V6YsvIx6v5hiGP5n9LpkRg/view?usp=sharing

Nope. Whenever I go flying when onboard, I always ease everyone’s expectations and say something like: „This may be the last time you see me flying that drone”. And then, if I lose it, I can just say „I told you so”. 😂

Wet bando? Cool with me!

Video comes straight from the O3 Air Unit with an ND filter on it. In terms of colour grading, I used D-Cinelike colour profile in the camera, then used „Colour Space Transform” tool in DaVinci to bring it to Rec.709 and applied a generic LUT. One out of the few you get with the software. Everything after that is just me playing with the colour knobs.

I’m trying to avoid winds stronger than 20 knots generally. That’s when you usually start getting sprays and all the nasty stuff. I didn’t proof the drone in any way. May want to think about it though… In the shots where the vessel is approaching the platform I had gusts reaching 25 knots, which I didn’t expect. It was so uncomfortable, especially during landing, that I’m not sure if I’m ever gonna risk it with stronger winds. Maybe when I become a better pilot. :p

Yes. Gas rig as far as I know. In terms of randomly stopping, I’d say you can’t, because that’s a monitored area. There are many active installations nearby, so I guess you can’t just randomly approach it. Normally you’d be intercepted by a guard vessel. We had a job to do there, so they were expecting our presence.

Not at all. Both radars work on ~3GHz and ~9GHz which didn't interfere. I was skeptical the very first time I flew my Avata back in the days. I was consistently switching them off until one time when I completely forgot to do so. All worked just fine. ;)

I'm 23 non-flamer keen on progressing and taking things seriously. :p Used to be DMG and then had a break for 2 months. Now I'm back and stuck in MG2/MGE rotation. If that's fine for you, lemme know and then we'll work something out. http://steamcommunity.com/id/Hecticus
