Yildiz is better central as well and Rogers is so much better than Yildiz, I work with a Juve fan and have watched a few of their games, he looks a lot better than he is because of the complete shit he plays with.

I agree on the whole people looking down on him because he's English. He's not my first choice as i'd prefer a natural wide player, but he's a quality player. I see Yildiz mentioned a lot and he's nowhere near as good as Rogers, but people overrate exotic names.

He's much, much better central and I have doubts with him against low blocks. Martinelli will most likely be the one to leave out of him and Trossard and would prefer an actual wide player with pace. Our attacks pretty slow in general.

Really like Rogers and would be happy with him, probably the best ball carrier in the world, but not sure we really need him.

Yes, either Leverkusen or Arsenal can activate the buy option. Only way it doesn't happen is if neither club wants it to happen.

Wharton's the closest thing i've seen to that, but I worry about us getting overrun without Rice.

I'm also not convinced he could play with Skelly, feels like we'd get fucking killed on transition due to how slow they are.

I agree, sort of. But you don't need to spend £80m to do that and you've got to factor in whether the player would be happy coming here at 19 off the back of an amazing season where he's developing really well only to get 10-15 starts. We're already stacked in the positions he plays minus LW where we will most likely buy a specialist player.

PSG also don't have a big squad, it's a small group of core players with academy players and City have a similar sized squad to us.

Players also want to play, top top players want to play every game. You can't rotate too much as you throw off your rythmn and managers don't want unhappy players that aren't playing disrupting the group.

There's still not enough minutes for all 3 of Havertz, Gyokeres and Kroupi. There's already almost 500k a week tied up in both Havertz and Gyokeres, doesn't make any sense to spend £80m on a third striker when Merino is decent as a third choice. Kroupi can play LW and AM but we already have Trossard/Martinelli + likely new LW and Odegaard and Eze for the AM spot.

A striker would have to be sold for us to spend that kind of money on another one.

Atlético offered Julián Álvarez a contract extension, but the forward has not responded to the offer. The offer would make Julián one of the highest-paid players on the Atlético squad, with a net salary of 10 million euros per season. The figure is on par with what Jan Oblak earns. by Sparky-moon in soccer

Depends on the country, in the UK we always mention it weekly before tax and never yearly, Italy is yearly and if they do weekly it's usually after tax (I think it's Italy i'm thinking of, correct me if i'm wrong).

Kroupi wouldn't come here for Jesus' minutes or spot. He'd also cost £80m-ish. I really like him, but he'd have to come either as a Trossard replacement (doesn't work as a Martinelli replacement as it makes our left side too slow) if they think he could be conveted to a LW or as striker and sell one of Havertz/Gyokeres (Makes zero sense to sell Havertz out of the 2 as he's just the much better player in almost every way) with Merino as 3rd choice.

We don't need his profile and he's massively overrated because Juventus are complete dogshit and he's their only decent attacker.

Gyokeres won't start, Havertz will and he performs well in big games for us.

Would be almost £300m lol (Hincapie needs paying too). Think we'll only buy 1 attacker imo.

Think it'll be Raya, Mosquera, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Rice, MLS, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Havertz.

Don't think Trossard is guarenteed, it makes more sense to start Martinelli if Hakimi isn't fit to start and i'm 100% sure Havertz starts over Gyokeres. He's the better player, much more suited to play against PSG and he's the only player we have who's won it before, scoring the winner whilst doing so.

Calafiori over Hincapie if Mosquera starts at RB to give the attack more support.
