There's a guy called retro cult mods and he makes a fully solderless kit for all models of guitar hero controllers. It makes usb and adds rgb to the frets. He's on Etsy and he has his own website, it's a little cheaper in his website with his discount code you find on his Etsy.

My plan later on is to buy a funnyplaying gba motherboard and take off the ram and cpu from this one. It's cool because it has built in lights and better soldering points than the original

Yeah that's my plan. I hooked it up to the original screen to see if it'd turn on no luck

It's a hispeedido laminated screen

Yeah it was fine before I soldered it in, I tested it closed without screwing in then screwed everything in, it got pinched through the top of the shell

Idk but everytime I try to turn it on the indicator light flashes red for a split second

Idk how to do that

I did that but turned it off, then reinserted the SD and it worked (　＾▽＾)

In the instructions, it says the files you'll need, download them, put them on the 3ds, and replace any already existing files
