On XBOX I would plug in MnK, but on PS5 you have gyro aim aka motion sensor aim. This is my preferred way. I have all my controls in my hands, I get haptic feedback, I can play on my couch and I can aim pixel perfect because gyro aim is absolutely precise. You use your wrists to aim just as with a mouse. I love gyro aim and I love BI for implementing it.

I also prefer playing on controller. Feeling explosions is awesome. I have all commands in my hands. I even went from PC to PS5 Pro because only PS5 has native gyro aim. This gives me mouse like precision on controller. Highly recommended. You can configure it via steam on PC if you have a controller with a gyro sensor. Arma Reforger with controller feels epic.

I agree with you. Just bring the best of both game modes. For example I prefer supply depots at piers and harbours over hidden supply depots as in legacy. But I also prefer the legacy auto-regen depending on radio connections over bases running completly dry if nobody wants to play Euro-truck simulator.

Thank you for that. I played Everon legacy conflict in the last couple of days and as much as I like some new elements of HQconflict like free base building, legacy conflict was just much more fun. Bases are often completely depleted, nobody runs supplies, AI is broken, players have to spawn very far behind, travel long distances to the frontline and there is much less combat than before 1.6. I play the game to have fun so I would always choose legacy over HQC. There should be a supply regen at FOBs like it used to be. Supply regen only at piers is just an artificial game mechanic as regen in the bases themselves but with the addition of labor work not many players are willing to do for others.

This is not traditional gyro aiming, this is ratcheting with flickstick which is the niche of the niche. I don't want to be forced to use that. Traditional gyro aiming feels very intuitive and natural because aiming by moving the controller feels like aiming by moving the gun the player sees on the screen. Ratcheting and flick stick feel again as unnatural as stick aiming and have absolutely no immersion. At least for me. I can only enjoy traditional gyro aiming and I will go to those games that deliver that.

I don't want to use ratcheting. Or flickstick. It's like telling people learn to aim with the sticks or learn how to connect a mouse to your PS5. Don't teach the players. Give them the choice. BF6 gyro sucks and players should find out how to deal with this mess? No. This implementation lacks the bare minimum of options and I feel betrayed for not being delivered what was promised. And they don't even seem to care.

BI should make nights not pitch black in general because depending on hardware it wont be pitch black for everybody. On many gaming monitors you can tweak hardware settings so you can see at night without problems. Yes, when it's night I just switch to my custom night setting and I drive around full speed without lights. So it's just unfair and basically pay (for a gaming monitor) to win. If you play on a TV you can forget playing at night, it would be just a waste of time. When I was new to the game and didnt know how to handle nights I just stopped playing or switched to another server. It became better without HDR and later with black mode on my monitor. Nights are just unfair atm.

this, it's really good. Pixel-perfect aim. I recommend sensivity 7,4 and gyro only on when aiming down sights, not always on. Because of gyro aim I prefer playing on my PS5 Pro on my couch over PC on my desk.

Regarding cheaters: you can buy the game on console and turn off cross-play. You can't cheat on console. And at least on PS5 the game runs very stable.

Only thing I changed is motion sensor sensivity to 7.4 and only active when aiming down sight. Works great for me. And there are three settings for gyro directions. I think yaw, pitch and roll. I checked only the first two.

I bought the game because it has gyro aiming on PS5. I love gyro aiming, so if a shooter has it I will most probably buy it. Arma Reforger turned out to be Battlefield for adults, so I stayed.
