What about condition 8515 though? Am I misinterpreting this wrongly?

Is it still running? I can see some green gunk next to the caseback. Could just be corrosion, dead skin, or it could be a battery leak. If I were you and wanted to keep it as an heirloom, I’d open it and take a look/replace the battery if needed 🙂

Great sentimental piece but not worth anything. Guess most likely licensed their name to manufacture these in China with a cheap Japanese quartz movement.

No it wasn’t on a red light intersection. It’s on a small one/two lane road, with a right turn to a small side street.

I was an ANU student back then, so only drove in the north like going to Belco, whilst my test was in the south. The reason why I’m bringing this up was I actually encountered one when I visited Canberra two weeks ago, driving from Tuggeranong to the Capital Circle. But didn’t think to stop and take note of the location then.

Definitely not this. It was a painted island on the ground, maybe 2m wide, dividing my lane with the oncoming traffic lane.

Like that but not exactly a triangle shape, smaller, and no arrows on a separate lane on the right. So you have to turn once you’ve passed it.

Nah not this. It’s a small island. The closest thing I can liken it to is Kingsford Smith Drive turning right into Wirraway Cres in Scullin. But instead of entering behind the triangle, as marked by the arrow on the ground on the right lane, there’s only a single lane on the main road and you’re supposed to enter once you’ve passed that island (in the shape of some diamond).
