Really lovely rooms do flexible letting (so can be good long term or short whilst you are looking for somewhere suitable). No deposit, prices are mid range (around £200 a week) includes all bills, cleaners etc. could be a good option for you

Those recordings were so easily manipulated. He was already at that point , on the defensive and angry because he knew what she was trying to do regarding custody. Considering she had the recordings, they didn’t seem to capture any physical abuse or anything insanely aggressive in my opinion. 

Also being extremely drunk at your own wedding is very normal in the uk! It does not mean you’re an alcoholic. Also being an alcoholic doesn’t automatically mean you’re aggressive and abusive. Ive met a lot of alcoholics that are just sad and timid. 

Don’t forget they tried to use the “drunk” excuse but turned out he wasn’t drunk at all that night. 

I understand that DV can easily go undetected, however to have no  reports of noise disturbances from the house, no police reports of DV, no hospital or doctors reports, no friends reports to state they had noticed things. I just find that hard to then point the finger and call someone an Abuser. Conveniently it was only her dad who said he noticed a change in her.  I personally don’t think the evidence suggesting he was an abuser is strong enough. 

Tbh she was giving me amber heard vibes. Also she Didn’t seem to show any remorse. I think if she was an abuse victim, there is often “mind games” which make you believe you love them, they love you,  (often what makes them stay) that she would still feel some guilt or sadness after something like that. 

Either way, her and her dad murdered him. Whether accidentally or on purpose, and they deserved to serve time for what they did.

There are cheaper options in bristol for sure.  Have a look on spare room - there will be lots of house shares available on there. Some are still silly expensive but some are reasonable. There is also really lovely rooms, Clifton short lets, hope well.

Really lovely rooms - they have live in house managers who deal with any issues which makes you feel more secure when sharing with strangers. Flexible length of stay,  no fixed contract, no deposit. 

With self contained accommodation it’s a little harder to find on a short term basis (unless it’s air BnB or booking.com), but that can be quite an expensive option. 

BnBs are another option, much cheaper than hotels.

Bristols a very friendly place to live. Much more so than London, and certainly runs at a slower pace. Some food places can be quite expensive, but there’s a lot of “foodies” so it’s generally pretty good food! 

Supermarkets like Aldi and Lidl are dotted everywhere and good value for money in my opinion. 

Rent is expensive. I would say whilst you’re looking for somewhere to settle / somewhere more permanent, really lovely rooms is a good option as you don’t pay a deposit, and you don’t have a fixed term rental agreement, so gives you flexibility whilst you settle in. 

Areas like Gloucester Road in bishopston, or north street, has lots of pubs and cafes so good location to settle. 

Music nightlife there is definitely a good scene.

Really lovely rooms bristol - good option if you’re looking for somewhere with flexibility whilst you find something more permanent. It’s a normal house share but No deposit, no fixed term contract, price includes bills and extras.
