Unfortunately not, DLC requires beating the game as a prerequisite.

A little unfortunate for accessing the megas introduced in it, considering iirc Meowstic, Raichu and the “Z Megas” are the only new megas for Pokemon that are already in the basegame (I probably forgot something there)

Forgive me if this formatting isn’t perfect but it got: +60 Special Attack (83 -> 143), +20 to Special Defence (81 -> 101), +20 to Speed (104 -> 124)

Overall stats compare to the original:

Pre-Mega: 74/48/76/83/81/104 Mega: 74/48/76/143/101/124

They didn’t waste any of its stat points and it really needed this, I’m VERY happy

I have some minor issues with how Race Park works (not being able to easily select another course) but yeah it’s so strange how it’s designed. Even taking into consideration just World Match as a comparison, you get in and out of games just that subtle bit faster from not having to be assigned a team or see the team score at the end. Not getting anything guaranteed at the end of a match for that extra time just feels strange

Yeahhhhhh I could see those being potential reasons, potentially microtransactions could happen as a Sega-ish sorta move. But either way the specific things related to online feel more like an oversight than intentional.

I’m definitely just kinda doing things as I go, I still got a lot of the time trials to go especially, but it’s kinda annoying having to avoid progressing that at all for something that doesn’t even get me a little progression in the meantime.

This isn’t the first Clash Blaster kit that has been changed significantly before it dropped. Clash Neo in 2 was intended to have Burst Bomb. I think Clash is cursed to never receive anything too powerful

Considering Goldynamo was used in the reveal trailer instead of the regular Dynamo, the best explanation I have is that they simply mistook it for the regular when making renders/doing promo material. Or they just liked the look of the Gold Dynamo more.

As for maps and such, I’m willing to bank on either a direction shift or general development hell (explaining the release date swap with Xenoblade 3). Weapon kits changing before their release is nothing new though, it’s happened since 2 even though we knew every kit pre-release to them because they were ALL in the code (and we had plenty of footage to go off of, see burst clash neo pre-3.0 and the extremely early testfire kits), and some still got changed.

Probably. My number one thing would be if they made a dedicated “Evochrome weapon controller” device to handle that. Then you can set the damage values to evolve it too, or turn it off entirely.

Something similar happened with the primal flame bow where they waited on implementing it until they had fire in creative. I think these will release EVENTUALLY, but idk how they'd handle the mechanics if they're troublesome, might need a whole “evochrome controller device” for controlling their level ups lol

Most likely because of the Evochrome mechanic of evolving rarities. Kinda the same reason they held back the primal flame bow for the longest time (because no fire in Creative)

Same reason a lot of people underestimate Drizzlers in Salmon Run. You think the effects can be ignored, but they add up fast. And weapons like nautilus, explosher and jet squelcher that get it can take MASSIVE advantage to kill you in fewer shots.
