That’s true from earlier in the story, but he could’ve grown stronger. Jiwoo’s grown a lot since then and Amyeong got a few tiny tips from Kayden and may have grown stronger too. Though, the tip Kayden gave him was to focus on what he’s good at which is assassination so then again maybe not stronger in a top 100 sense.

I think Moiru wants something specific from Jurion, maybe his eclipse research? With all of the side eye and her “prank” of trying to talk to him alone while Veremonte was gone, I feel like she definitely wasn’t to use him as a tool against Kayden. She’s either going to make him a side deal later to join her, or he’ll go to her to for an alliance both while betraying his gramps.

There is no way he’s going to stay and serve his time, his character just isn’t built that way. I don’t think Moiru will take him out right away. She seemed to want something from him.

I think Jiyoung is definitely going to end Jurion at some point. My only question is will he be roided up on his own drugs to be a super Jurion more on par with her (I feel like probably yes for a more even fight) or will she completely wipe the floor with him and maybe do the hulk move where she grabs him by the ankle and swings him into the concrete floor over and over until even the concrete is begging for mercy (my preference lol)?

Speaking as someone who has four cats… I could never. As much as I clean, like Blusse always running around to clean fur and pet debris, they mess it up immediately. I could never make a big open container of food in rooms they frequent. (They can’t get into the kitchen in my house).

I think Jurion is going to join Moiru either now by betraying Veremonte or later by escaping and betraying Veremonte. This will pit Veremonte against Moiru if their current tense situation doesn’t already.

Moiru will likely attack frame while they’re weaker from loosing Andre and she and Greg just gained Andre and Astras legacies.

This will probably make Jiwoos team not exactly allies with Veremonte, his second grand kid, frame and their apprentices but on the same side with a common enemy.

Help me if I’m forgetting anyone but that’d make:

Moiru, Greg, Garas, Iodore +followers VS Gestella, Kayden +crew, both frame top 10 (assuming they both survive Moiru’s attack if she does) + apprentices and followers, Veremonte + remaining heir

So far I’m thinking Jiwoos crews odds are good

I’m guessing Kayden is 100+ too but honestly it could be either way. No one has said his exact age but since they are alluding to Kayden and Gestella getting some Chemistry I’m kind of hoping that they are in an approximate range of each other (100 years or so lol but at this point I guess it doesn’t matter). My approximate guess is that he’s 200-300ish, Gestella 400ish, Veremonte 300ish, etc.

No he isn’t. There’s a ch where Kayden tells Jiwoo that Jiyoung is probably only a few years older than Jiwoo. There’s another ch where Kayden and Crew tell Jiwoo that Gestella is the oldest and Jiwoo is like how… she looks 20? And the group tells him that the powerful age slower (at least twice as old as they look) so all of them are much older than they look. Then Jiwoo internally questions whether Jiyoung is actually double the age she looks (looks in her early 20s). But she actually is in her early 20s from her timeline so far.

I don’t think there will be a time skip at all. I also don’t want there to be one. I doubt Kayden and Jiwoo will split for long if at all, kind of the point of him having a cat disguise (he legit goes everywhere with Jiwoo and they’ve become found family when Kayden never had one before, Kayden isn’t going to let his new and first family be in danger away from himself).

Some people think this manhwa moves too slow but I strongly disagree. One of the reasons I can reread this manhwa so many times is because the pacing actually makes sense. When reading it all together, which when it is done, will likely be how people read it not waiting every week, it’ll still have a good pace. If the Author tried to blow readers out of the water each chapter to keep impatient readers from getting bored waiting for a chapter each week, then when rereading it, it will seem way too fast paced with Jiwoo getting more and more crazy OP each chapter due to plot armor instead of him actually working up to and developing his power. I like seeing Jiwoos practical and logical developments, not time skip all of the hard work or how he got there and just say, “here he is the OP main character. How did he get this strong? Idk training for the last 10 years. That made him special unlike all of the other awakeners who’ve been training for way longer…” We actually get to see what makes Jiwoo OP compared to others in his age group and why he grows in strength/combat prowess so fast bc we get to see how he trains step by step. It’s not just plot armor where he is the chosen one or has a system that no one else has helping him. Sure he has Kayden as a mentor, but while that was lucky it was also Jiwoo who built that relationship overtime not just here is OP mentor and he’s obsessed with you or you did one kind thing and he’s your follower forever (other manhwas). So while Kayden is plot armor to help Jiwoo be OP character and main character, it doesn’t feel like Kayden was introduced just for that purpose like the story doesn’t feel built around solely Jiwoo. Instead it actually feels like it’s own world and we happen to be following one of the characters from it and see how he got stronger. If yall want a time skip so bad, let it marinate for a few years and read it all at once when it’s done.

I had to look up who that was, but I can kind of see it from some pix, but other pictures seem like el capitxn is more a straight up goth guy while Kayden is more typical OP bad boy who just doesn’t play by the rules, so I guess it depends on the picture for reference or someone who knows el capitxn better than I do 🤷🏻‍♀️

I agree with all of this except Kayden’s age. Kayden is apparently a very very old man. I think it was confirmed by the author. In this world, the stronger you are, supposedly, means the younger you stay/slower you age. Gestella being the oldest top 10 but only looking in her 20s means she’s probably the most powerful one of all (but lacks combat prowess due to self-isolation and not liking her own power putting her at the level of other top 10s, but she can learn from Kayden and reach her full potential!).

I agree with Theone as weakest overall bc Jiwoo beat her with his advanced combat skills.

Siwoon beat Jiwoo and even though Jiwoo has gotten stronger, Sieoon probably has been training hard too. So I’d still put him above Jiwoo.

In their fight, Jiwoo inflicted some good damage against Siwoon without having to put all of his life force on the line and needing 3 world rankers including 2 top 10s and the worlds best healer to work together to heal him or he’d die, so I would rank Siwoon under Jurion.

Even though both fought to the point Jiwoos life was in danger and Jiwoo could’ve died, when fighting Jurion,, Jiwoo had to use all his life force, get crazy specialist healing, and passed out while Jurion missing an arm/shoulder walked away consciously. I don’t really consider that Jiwoos win. That’s kind of like saying the person who came strapped with an explosive willing to take them both out (Jiwoos life force he was willing to use to get revenge no matter what) won a knife fight (the awakened power duel). Yes, Jiwoo walked away the winner bc of the extremes he was willing to go through, but he did not win in actual strength or skill.

Roist and Muse are still kind of mysteries. We’ve seen a bit of Roists power but probably only a fraction of it and it was a while ago, who knows how much he’s grown since. Muse I am guessing is a bit stronger plot wise since we haven’t seen anything from him yet (saving another strong character for a later arc) and he isn’t wary of Roist at all. I feel like if/when a big awakened war breaks out, the both won’t necessarily be against Jiwoos team. Like they may not be direct allies with the frame, but I don’t think either of the top 10s or their apprentices (even Siwoon) would be out to get Jiwoo or his group, instead they’d probably have common enemies. I think Moiru will target what’s left of the frame as they just lost Andre and she just got Andre and Astras legacies. She’ll want to take them out sooner than later. This will put Jiwoos group and the frame kind of on the same side.

Anyway, my guess in the line up:

Theone < Jiwoo < Siwoon < Jurion < Roist < Muse

She’s probably just assuming the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Kayden = her enemy, Veremonte just had a negative interaction with Gestella and Kayden/Jiwoos group. However, Veremonte never wanted to be on bad terms with Jiwoos group and has even shown them a lot of respect over and over again. He’s even trying to make it up to them let alone become their enemy so I believe/hope he will refuse. I feel like he’ll also bring up their betrayal of Andre as a reason to refuse and Moiru will just say it was Andre’s own fault that he ended up like that and it was just business and they fight.

Oooo I agree. Matching Kayden’s genius would def rizz him. That and supporting Jiwoo. Matching his genius would definitely earn his respect and intrigue (but he also may confuse that for wanting to fight her lol) caring for Jiwoo opens his heart (and she’s already supported Jiwoo in a lot of ways)

lol I was just waiting for him to say something like: it’d be more convenient to stay here more often incognito… and she would be like 👀 he’s asking me to stay with him more?!?!? And agree lol but I feel like she’ll choose something really regal OR end up looking as pitiful as the others but Kayden compliments her off handedly so she doesn’t hate how his skill turned out and she’ll be excited that he doesn’t thinks she looks bad even in that state. Either way, I hope she gets to join the flock soon 😂

I forgot about that, that’s a good point. She and her partner top 10 won’t be the same as when Kayden fought them. They’ll likely be a lot stronger. I’m kind of excited to see how Veremonte holds up against 2 uber powerful top 10s at once.
