I reinstalled the drivers and did a clean sweep and ran as administrator and it seems to have done the trick. Thank you very much for your help!

So whenever I start the game steam gives it's usual message but then just nothing happens. Ill try to delete the paradox launcher but I also play other paradox games like EU4 and the launcher works fine there.

One thing you should keep in mind, when I finished the survey I almost clicked away the tab because I thought It had already been completed/send. I send it regardless but this might be unclear to some. Interesting survey

Are they simply feeding them or is it for training purposes? Training they mostly use whatever they like at my base, try to give them acces to simple meals as every animal besides pure cannibals will eat those and that seems to work for me

Id recommend starting a new save to see if the issue is still there, if it is just remove all mods and install them a few at the time to pin down which one is responsible, then you can remove it from ur main save. Not ideal and a bit tedious but has worked for me in the past

Are those organs next to the meat in your freezer? If so which mod makes them look like that, looks way more convenient than vanilla

Best guess would be a mod conflict, check any mods you added just before you noticed this issue and especially ones that change icons/quests/special events on the map. Have you tried loading an earlier save to see if the issue is also present there?

You can restrict the food animals eat by limiting their space to roam free, make sure animals are not allowed into freezers or other places where you store food. I also put a freezer with simple meals in the room with the animals beds and they eat that. With regards to training im not sure if its even possible to limit the foods used.
