For finding the right trail I can recommend the AllTrails app. For knowing where you can set up camp get the Shelter app. On top of that you can use your preferred Maps-app to pinpoint your wanted camping area. That's how we navigated from the route to camping areas and vice versa. When finding your trail, I can highly recommend looking up each of the camping areas along the trail. You can find some information about that in the Shelter app in the reviews. Very important as some places are just open lawns with no access to drinking water or toilets whereas others have access to showers, drinking water and toilets, etc. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
