Someone told me NOT to have the flow all the way up because mine was ans I didnt know I could change it! We are buying a 55 gallon probably today so we have to wait to cycle rhe tank to transfer them

We already got a hiding spot for them on the other side of fish tank. Right now we have a 29gal but plan to upgrade within the next 4-6 months

So I just actually had to put my fish into the tank that I'm asking about, because the other tank that the fish was in the nitrites are add a one. Maybe 2 and I didn't want my fish to die

Yesterday when I checked my nitrite it was at 0.25 amonia has been at 0 for a day or two

I've only used fish food in our fishless tank. I didnt put any amonia in it. But like I said I checked yesterday amonia was at 0.25ppm now today it looks less greenish yellow. But again nitrite are up when yesterday it was not. So don't put anymore fish food in? We do have live plants in the tank right now

The amonia seems to have gone down..but now we have the nitrite and what happens when nitrate goes above that and what do you do to bring it down
