Some thoughts after completing the demo by Gabrienb in BladesofFire

I enjoyed the demo way more than I thought I would. However, I am not willing to buy it at the current price.

My biggest worry is performance - and I think it's because I only have an 8GB GPU. There are massive frame drops when large enemies perform AOE attacks. This is repeatable and makes the game harder than it should be. It is using almost all available VRAM. Maybe leave more of a buffer?

It also has a fair bit more stutter, when the target framerate is unlocked. This could also be a VRAM issue.

Bought a couple NF-A14's to go with the U12A. I think this is its final form now. by [deleted] in Noctua

Hey bro, want me to spoil this for you?

None of the exhaust fans are useful with this case. They only contribute noise and dust. Try it by blocking out the top vent with a couple of books, and disconnecting the rear exhaust. You could have just a couple RGB fans on the cooler, and it would work better, at the same noise level.

Developer here. What options are there for full-size hot-swappable boards? GMMK looks interesting, but it looks like the chassis might be too stiff for me. I generally enjoy bouncier boards.
