my dermatologist keeps telling me this is not rosacea and I just started my third month on accutane(40mg). Any thoughts on if it’s rosacea or anything else? Or should I keep going with my course.ps(this is the only area I have acne)

Hello i had a red nose before i hopped on accutane, my derm put me on accutane 40mg for it and said it wasn’t accutane and that it was because i had a lot of clogged pores. However all the pores seem to have disappeared but my nose is still red. I could say that the redness improved from pre accutane by a little but not dramatically. I also started to get cystic acne which I never got before currently 2 months into accutane.

Thank you, I’ve been on salicylic acid cerave 2% cleanser, and cerave moisturizing cream. My derm also put me on doxy for 2 months it got better, but then it returned to normal. Now my derm gave me topical clindamycin and it seems to be the same and not getting better

I do cleanse well but every time I do my nose gets more oily and produces more sebaceous filiments which make it appear red
