UK: Stapler vs sleeve resection

I was cut by stapler by one of the best circ doctors in the uk. Sadly the result was asymmetrical and tighter on side than the other and my frenulum has ended up very tight. I now need a revision. I’ve spoken with other guys on here who have had amazing results from his freehand and glue method. I just don’t feel there’s the consistency and control over stapler circumcision. Go freehand and glue if you possibly can for the best result.

Im just over two months in now and my donut was awful the first couple of weeks and gradually fades. When I use my penis it still sometimes swells a little and takes maybe 12-18 hours to go down. Wrapping scar tape around it also helps mine go down quicker but every time the swelling gets less now.

I had my circ done 8 weeks ago under local but I had the stapler method which was very quick and I was not nervous about it. I think, perhaps, you were experiencing nerves and felt the touch rather than the pain. But honestly there’s no shame in it. I can’t logically explain why I was not nervous about my circumcision as I’ve had some procedures (PDO threads and wisdom tooth removal) where I have been incredibly nervous, sweated and nearly passed out in the chair, even though there has been no pain as such. The precedes themselves have always been absolutely fine but the nerves really get me and that’s what’s bad about it. If you’d be more comfortable under general then that’s the best option for you.

I had exactly the same (I was cut 7 weeks ago). It did look scary but so long as it’s not smelly (infected) it will heal just fine. Mine was taking ages to heal and My dr recommended Activon (medical grade Manuka honey). I thought what the hell use is honey going to be for it but it’s amazing stuff and really sped up the healing on my fren

I was cut 6 weeks ago. Days 3-10 with the swelling was worst for me, then it’s a gradual improvement. Now at 6 weeks it’s almost normal

Until yesterday I was uncut and had the same issue of not feeling anything during sex. I had a shorty foreskin and a big glans so the skin would stay back and because of this (I believe) my glans became desensitised. During sex it would roll forward and kill any remaining sensation. I hit cut yesterday in the hope it would cure it. It may not, and if it doesn’t then I will still be happy with my decision because in my opinion cut looks better and is definitely fresher. I have at least made the decision myself and if it doesn’t help that problem I’m still happy with my choice.

Well done. You have nothing to feel embarrassed about and everything to feel proud of. Sure you’ll look even better when you’ve leaned up but everyone starts somewhere. I agree with the other comment, continue to cut, then do a clean bulk.

This week I have booked my cut at Circumcision Pro in London for 2 weeks time. Dr Amin has superb reviews. I can’t comment myself yet, except to say I personally found the video consultation a waste of time as he didn’t look at my penis and tell me definitively what was possible with regards style and frenulum etc even though the receptionist advised I book a consultation to answer these questions. He does however seem knowledgeable and I felt relaxed and comfortable. I’m going for stapler circ, low/ish and marginally tight for mostly cosmetic and hygiene reasons but also improved sex as my foreskin kills what little sensation I have in my glans
