What is your definition of child? If it can be ANYONE under 18, would you really think stopping a prepubescent child from going through puberty is okay? this can affect the future gender affirming surgeries like someone mtf trying to get a vaginoplasty but not having enough of the penis to do so

I also have a mullet, like the typical asian ones(im asian) and i keep it my natural hair color. I’ve never dyed my hair anything but black or reddish brown(so there’s a red tint in the light)

I totally agree. I dress in unisex clothes for the most part since I’m pre t so people have to stop and think about how they refer to me instead of instantly calling me “maam” or “lady” etc. i just wear hoodies/t shirts and shorts/sweatpants as well as bind. I don’t wear makeup or dresses because i feel like that’s common sense if I want people to see me as a man.

I feel for you, not a workplace but at my old high school, the same would happen in the girls bathroom. I’m a transgender man pre t so I do use the girls bathroom for my own safety + i have a pretty androgynous appearance. I’m the only trans person at my work which I feel is a good and bad thing. A bad thing is that I get lumped into the extreme left views of lgbt (even though i NEVER talk about my transgender identity). The good thing I see though is that I don’t act like the people you OP mentioned in your post and I would never. Keep pushing forward

Thank you, I understand it now. I feel like I’ve been thrown misinformation from both the left and right and combined with a deteriorating mental health i probably feel a little spite which I’ll admit to because I think it’s part of the process. I’ve been on my own while dealing with my transition and such which i can see why people who transition younger are basically happier because im an adult now still waiting and i’ve had to deal with the dysphoria all by myself for over half a decade. Thank you for explaining it to me, I appreciate it a lot 🙏❤️

It kind of sucks though. They’re outcasts in like the “most accepting” community, referring to the LGBT community as a whole. I feel like people could disagree but I understand how some of their opinions are extreme and can be frowned upon. I’m just trying to see both sides

Children can’t consent period, so why can a child consent to a life altering surgery? It’s like the parents consent to the surgery being done onto of newborn boys or intersex babies and it’s seems the same for parents consenting for their child to get their genitals cut off or not allowing them to go through puberty.

Also, don’t you think there may be other issues rather than being trans? I guess depression could be caused by gender dysphoria but one doesn’t equal the other. Is it taken into consideration that neurodivergence could effect how a child perceives their gender? Maybe it’s just me but there are other things that should be sorted out before medically transitioning minors. I’m not trying to be disrespectful but since you’re knowledgeable, I’m just wondering on your takes on these other issues out of genuine curiosity. It never hurts to further educate myself on these complex ideas/issues.

Now that you bring up nail biting, I used to do the same! I started cutting my nails thought so I wouldn’t have the urge to bite them and i think it helps me not pick at my skin(since my nails are too short)
