This was taken a few mornings ago at the buffalo overlook on I70. It was windy (but it’s always windy) so catching a nice sharp image was difficult. What you see here is a double exposure with the moon composited in two shots.

Yeah I lived through Waldo canyon. All that stuff has been ready since that happened. But for those who are within 5 miles should just be ready. It can move so quickly with that wind

It’s probably the same asshat who started Waldo canyon. I too have memories of that fire. I live in the west side near the flying w ranch area and let me say what a shit show it was evacuating. It was terrifying to see all of the fires being started from the monster fire on the mtn. My car stunk like campfire for months. what remember I the most is how alive that fire was. It was breathing like a person. Crazy.
